I am not in anyway a red meat lover actually very far from it but this diner’s tender melt in your mouth meat can and will convert you.The Iskender priced at TL35 is the best I have had my entire life the yoghurt served with it has an organic home-made texture that is divine, while the tomato based sauce soaking the cotton soft bread is amazing. The dönor sandwich priced at TL15 in the square bread with green roasted paprika and a tomato slice is outrageously awesome.The home made ayran priced at TL4 needs a whole chapter to describe it’s floating on the clouds taste.Add to the extremely high food quality the likes of a three star Michelin "exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey", the pure sincere and TLC extremely welcoming service you get from the moment you walk past it on the street from the family of owners being greeted and welcomed with huge smiles to come and experience their love filled delicacy till the final moment you exit the restaurant requesting you come back.Making it a whole new reason to visit Istanbul.

One the best doner / gyro in the world…. Place has its own atmosphere … they have small shop with sitting upstairs as welll as little siting out side shop … their serving starts at 1030 am and they officially close at 530 pm… but it’s very rare that don’t close it until 330 pm… they run out with their meat very quickly … so it’s better to go early … it’s betterif u come little early …. Prices has increased specially in last three years … but it’s worth having this quality .. meat is juicy and with out any kind of fat smell… if u will come at peak time u have to stand in time for quite some time .. Ustad asim click is from my previous visits as I could not see him this trip

Tahiri Karadeniz Pide Ve Doner Salonu is our favorite doner shop in Istanbul. They have been making outstanding doner since 1973. Their Doner is full of flavor, thinly sliced, juicy and perfectly caramelized. We love the pilavustu doner (doner over rice), porsiyon doner (plate of doner) with their freshly house-made pide Turkish bread, and their durum doner wrapped in lavash. There is so much love in what they do. The owner is always kind and smiling. We find ourselves return again and again — a place worth traveling for around the globe.

It seems like the restaurant does not have a standard service and hospitality standard. I also noticed the meat amount is not weighed before it’s served anymore. Foreigners have many complaints. I hope these complaints are due misunderstanding. Although the taste was better couple years ago, it’s still worth a try if you like thick cut döner. It’s a fatty but very savory döner. The line is usually pretty long, but you can go upstairs and wait for the tables to become available. Overall rating 4.4/5 for a Döner place

Freshly baked bread, the largest revolving tower of meat you'll ever see, this place serves the best doner in Istanbul. Very reasonable prices too. Although there is usually a queue of people waiting to order, the service is extremely fast, so you'll get your order quickly. It's a great process to watch while you wait, the small kitchen is in full view so you can see your roll being baked, the meat being sheared and then everything being assembled right in front of you. You can't get fresher than this!

I've seen this place on YouTube multiple times by different presenters, all saying how great the food is ect ect ect so I've travelled all the way from England to follow their footsteps, this place was wonderful, you can always tell a good establishment by the size of queue outside, this places queue was massive, worth it's wait, the meat was tender, the flavour, you could taste the lamb fat dripping, fresh salad and soft bread it was on, nice snap while on a city adventure.
