I recently visited Ghalia Lounge in Istanbul Bosphorus and I must say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the fantastic atmosphere. The view from the lounge was breathtaking, and the sitting area outside was the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The food at Ghalia Lounge was top-notch. Each dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I particularly enjoyed the variety of flavors and spices used in the dishes, which really elevated the dining experience. However, I do have to mention that the service could be improved. While the staff was friendly, I also noticed that the servers at Ghalia Lounge sometimes seemed to ignore customers when they were trying to get their attention. There were a few instances where I had to call out multiple times before a server would come over to assist. Additionally, I found it off-putting that some servers directly asked for tips, which made the dining experience feel a bit uncomfortable. While the overall service was friendly, these instances of inattentiveness and requests for tips were a downside to an otherwise pleasant experience. I hope that Ghalia Lounge can address these issues to ensure that all customers feel welcomed and valued during their visit. Overall, my visit to Ghalia Lounge was a memorable one. The stunning views, delicious food, and relaxing atmosphere made it a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal. I would definitely recommend this lounge to anyone looking for a unique dining experience in Istanbul. In addition, I must mention that the prices at Ghalia Lounge are on the higher side. While the quality of the food and the ambiance of the lounge are certainly worth it, it is important to be aware that dining here may require a higher budget compared to other restaurants in the area. Despite the higher prices, I still believe that the overall experience at Ghalia Lounge is worth it. The stunning views, delicious food, and unique atmosphere make it a special place to dine in Istanbul. Just be prepared to spend a bit more for the experience.

Ghalia Lounge is a stunning establishment with impeccable standards, offering fantastic food and service. We never regretted stumbling upon this gem. I've often come across pictures and reviews of this place, but I initially dismissed it as a tourist trap and over-hyped. We had planned to have breakfast at another restaurant nearby, but we were late. Fortunately, we ended up here. Arriving at 12:30, we inquired if breakfast was still being served and were warmly welcomed. They offered us a unique set menu breakfast, distinct from the typical "supreme kahvalti" found elsewhere in Istanbul. Although the portion was generous for two people, everything was delicious. However, the menemen was disappointing as it seemed to lack eggs, appearing more like a pan of tomatoes. Attention to detail is evident throughout this establishment. In addition to its stunning interior, picturesque views, delicious food, and excellent service, they have also thoughtfully provided a designated prayer area on the first floor for both men and women, which is wheelchair accessible.

This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone visiting the beautiful Istanbul and want to have a great view of the sea and the bridge, you can also feed the fish and seagulls. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and is perfect for breakfast or a casual lunch with Family or friends. The food at this restaurant is simply perfect. The service at this restaurant is top-notch. The staff is friendly and attentive, and they are always happy to make recommendations. Overall, this restaurant is a great place to experience the best of what the city has to offer. The atmosphere, location, food, and service are all top-notch. If you are looking for a memorable dining experience, be sure to check out this restaurant.

Ghalia Lounge offers a delightful setting, especially if you’re fortunate enough to secure one of the few tables that overlook the canal. The atmosphere is inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxing meal. However, a word of caution for breakfast lovers: the pricing is based on the number of people rather than the number of dishes ordered, so it’s essential to be aware of this when planning your visit. I’ll reserve a more comprehensive judgment as I only tried their breakfast, but from what I experienced, the view alone is worth the visit. It’s arguably better than what you might find at competing restaurants in the area—simply breathtaking.

*Title: Beautiful Location, but Pushy and Uncomfortable Service* The location and ambience of this place are beautiful, but the service needs serious improvement. The waiters, Murat and Şahin, were overly pushy about tips and reviews, making the entire experience uncomfortable. They seemed stingy and it was quite off-putting. From the valet to ordering our food, the staff was more focused on getting tips than providing good service. At one point, someone specifically asked for a tip just for exchanging money, saying things like "Where's my money?" or "Am I going to get some?" This behavior was cringe-worthy and made us uncomfortable. To top it off, one of the waiters even asked me to leave a five-star review and stood over my shoulder while I was doing it. This was intrusive and unprofessional. Despite the nice environment and location, the service was disappointing and not worth the visit. Such a nice scenery of the Bosphorus, lovely place. Breakfast was so similar to the traditional Turkish one also portions were quite enough. There are so many opportunities on menu you can find your ideal taste for breakfast, lunch etc. (My advice would be give a shot at the desserts.) Place was clean, have no doubt about that. Waitresses, service was pretty great and kind. However keep that in mind that if you want a good seat you should call there before you arrive -for reservation-. Also in addition, there is no alcohol.
