Bahador Wild Restaurant — Restaurant in Beyoğlu

I don’t often leave reviews, usually when it really good or really bad. Unfortunately this one falls in the latter category.

First off, they don’t speak English, which is not a problem but caused a lot of issues when ordering something simple as a Coke Zero.

We ordered 2 dishes and a Coke Zero. The Coke Zero never arrived even though we went with to the fridge and point to it with a guy that seems to be the owner. Second it took 30m at least for our food to arrive even though we were pretty much the the only 2 people there. When the food did arrive, it included some extra small dishes that we thought were part of the order such as a side salad and some rice. I was already suspicious and wanted to confirm with them but decided to just leave it…

So when the bill came, they charged us for 1. A more expensive dish than the one we ordered. 2. For the Coke we never got 3. For some random stuff we couldn’t read because it’s in Farsi. None of the amounts matches to any of the 2 dishes we ordered.

Took a good 15m for them to change the bill 3x and still end up with the wrong amount. We didn’t wanna spend any more time there and paid a bit more just to get the f out.

All in all it felt like a scam. Should have known with this Jared Leto looking...

Went there with my friends. Koobideh was good but definitely not for 4.8 Google rating and prices were on the higher side as well for quality. They did not speak English at all which is not good for non iranian visitors. Rice was good, joojeh was good too. Yoghurt cucumber also good.

Staff was too friendly but clear that they just want to get more money out of you in every way by making you order more.

They did not have lamb shish kebab so they got us ribs instead (which was a miscommunication or misunderstanding due to language), ended up charging us more for the dish and pushed us to trying it first before even saying we will change it for you. Not very good service.

Food took a lot of time so even if we wanted to order something new we couldn't have.

Wouldn't go there again, wouldn't suggest anyone go there. So many nicer places around istiklal...

Came here for lunch during my visit in Istanbul. Overall it is a place with average food but service was great.

We ordered a beef kebab with rice, a chick with rice and some salad. The restaurant also offers free bread with yogurt dipping. The dish were descent (a bit bland for my taste). The bread was cold so that was a bit disappointing.

Just like any restaurant in Istanbul, there was a gentleman right outside the restaurant aggressively trying to get people to come in.

The service was good as expected.
