Avoid this place if you can, turn around, and find somewhere further up the other end. Better still get a 5 minute taxi to Fethiye Kordon upon who's promenade you will find at least 25 similar restaurants with similar views but quality food and service at a sensible price. It looks lovely from the outside, great location and modern. That's why I thought I'd give it a go and got caught out. All the dishes on the menu were very expensive so I was expecting some quality and good service. Ordered the Kebab with a side of fries. As you can see, it looks like a dog has been sick in a bowl. I have no idea what it was, hard to put imto words - awful. Picked the few strips of meat out, which was tastles, maybe out of a can. In fact, I'd imagine the whole lot came out of a can, to be honest. Even the fries were terrible. Soggy, how do you make soggy fries? They must have cooked them earlier in the day and reheated them as a guess. Then the service! What service. I was dining alone and it was pretty obvious, asked for a table for one but they brought out a duplicate of everything I ordered. When the waiter put the food on the table, I said sorry I dont want two only one and he just dumped the whole lot on the table and said I'll see and walked off like he didn't believe me. The place was only at 30% capacity, 40% at the most. Yet no waiters asked anyone at all on any tables if their food was OK. It was like dump the food down and good bye! I had to get up and walk around to find my own salt from another table. I then managed to catch one and told him very firmly to remove the unwanted order, which they reluctantly did. Then the bill, 1200TKS, which is £26 including 2 soft drinks and no, they were not charging for the extra ordered they had accidentally made! So a total and utter rip off, and it really felt like an insult given I left most of it because...

Frequented by locals and tourists alike, this particular venue is located in a promontory at the end of Chaliş beach with stunning views of the surrounding mountains, Fethiye harbour and Chaliş beach as it stretches away into the distance. Taking a seat outside, you can enjoy your drinks/meals while watching a magnificent sunset and the wonderful hues of the sky as the transition from daylight to twilight to night takes place. This truly magical experience is enhanced by the friendliness and attentivness of the staff, excellent quality food which is presented magnificently. A real, high quality, dining experience which is further enhanced on arrival of the bill. Obviously, what you pay will depend in what you order but, in our case one starter, two meals, one desert, two G&Ts, one Effes and two sprite came to less than 2500.
Ok, I appreciate for some people that's expensive but, for the whole experience, we certainly thought it was most certainly worth it - particularly compared with other venues in Fethiye we go to.
We found the whole set up to be very professional and a high end dining experience The venue has both indoor and outdoor seats and tables. The decor is classy and chic and both the male and female toilets are maintained to a very high standard.
So, to round off, I would highly recommend a visit to Big Chefs Fethiye. I'm sure that, like us, you will enjoy it.

Read moreTLDR: If you are lactose intolerant, look for a different restaurant.
Atmosphere: The restaurant has a nice enough atmosphere but is in somewhat of disrepair. One example is multiple lamps not working or just being removed completely. It's not bad but not worth a five star rating, hence the four stars.
Food: I am lactose intolerant. I try to stay away from dairy products while I'm out for obvious reasons... This restaurant has a very limited selection of dishes that do not contain dairy. The food I received was apparently lactose free (more in the service section) but I feel something rumbling in my stomach. Either they still put some butter in it or the one closed mussle should have never reached my table. Either way, it wasn't a very satisfying experience. Tastewise the food was fine enough. Nothing to write home about but good enough.
Service: They tried to accommodate as best as they could. I even talked to the chef personally and they said there was just a bit of butter in it. My stomach does not react like this from a bit of butter. The first course was sold out with no alternative offered by the waiter.
Conclusion: It's a fine restaurant to go from time to time as long as you are not lactose intolerant. If you are though, go somewhere else. For me it was a huge disappointment and I couldn't enjoy the food but the people I was with were happy. I just can't wrap my head around how a huge chain like this, with that many dishes on offer, can fail that hard when it comes to the most wildly spread intolerance on this planet. Take from that what you will. I will not...
