Been coming to this area of Turkey for the last 15 years or so. Love dining out here and do so at least 50% of the days we spend here. Calis is a nice place to watch the sun go down at the end of an holiday. We have experienced dining in villages where what are daytime carports convert into evening restaurants, beach cafe's with scruffy sun shading and no seating, corner shops selling 2 courses and ayran drink for 2tl (less than £0:20p at the time), Farm Turkish breakfasts where they only stop bringing food out when you promise to stop eating (under £5.00), supermarket diners and market stalls, the food quality has always been excellent.

Chose Serkuk 2 I had walked till I couldn't walk any further (here's an hint look at the 2 symbol and reverse it). Greeted by a friendly type asked the friendy if they sold the local beverage. Went in ordered drinks and read menu, looking back that was pointless. Drinks arrived, Beer bottled and cold, Coke canned and cold, curly straw (nice touch no ice no lemon), comfy chairs looking good so far. Time to read the menu. Please take advice get your bill and leave now it's not too late. The people on the next table were informed there would be a delay but staff checked regularly they were ok or were they checking they hadn't left. We were both hungry, had been out all day and now needed some urgent carbs. So we ordered...... 2 totally different starters and 2 totally different chicken main dishes. (Now please don't call the global burger joints fast-food they are slow compared to this crew, if fast food was an Olympic Sport this lot would take gold. The group on the next table were still waiting when our starters arrived quality just - JUST OK, can you go wrong with soup, and chicken wings with leaves and what I can only describe as cold supermarket barbecue sauce drizzled over. The Mains arrived, hold on, they look identical both, swimming in a dark brown sauce, they tasted identical, I was ready to complain but then I did find several nuts in mine so there was a difference (It was like doing the puzzle in a magazine) The Chicken in both dishes was dry and a viod of flavour. The rice was good though. At this point I have had enough and want to complain but I think we must have tested positive for Covid as staff had started practicing their social distancing skills together with avoiding all eye contact and even failing to notice my beer glass was empty. I think chefs prepare waiters when they expect problems. My wife was so disgusted and tired and certainly didn't want me to inform them of our findings and "make a scene" She just said lets pay and go. At least I left this place knowing having paid for a meal my conscious is clear on the other hand I hope the owner reads this and has a conscious...

Beach facing multi-cuisine Chinese-Turkish restaurant. Problem is it’s “jack of all trades and master of none”. On offer was Turkish mezzes , Sizzlers, Stir fried (almost anything), traditional Turkish dishes, Pizzas, steaks, seafood, deserts.... sadly our Chinese chicken and the calamari Turkish stir fry was disappointing- lacking in texture and taste. All sort of alcoholic drinks. Service is efficient - maybe too quick as I fely rushed to eat up! Seating is outdoor under the trees or outdoor under an awning. Good international...

a must visit went here last year and the food was amazing we had chinese and i have to got to say that its the best chinese food i have tasted better than back home in the uk by a mile free puffa bread this is lovely ask mustafa for free bread say you saw this review we had breakfast here quite a few times great sausage and bacon all cooked perfect i will be going back to calis beach in july 2019 and this place will be my main eatery good beer great quick service great well cooked...
