Sorry but having been recommended this restaurant and a group of 4 people I am speaking about my particular experience. We had made a reservation and were welcomed and shown our seats. We had a tough time deciding where to eat dinner each night and usually found ourselves in Old Street, but we tried out Kösk based on other reviews and it did not disappoint... you can’t tell much from the sidewalk, but the seating area itself is very nice with a lounge area, bar front, and open-concept style kitchen (which I love). A kalkan institution that has undergone a lot of changes in the 25 or so years since my first visit but as always the food and service are top notch.

The staff very attentive without being overbearing and very eager to please. Special mention to their treatment of our child with a balloon and free ice cream given to her. It made a lasting impression on her and she wanted to be sure to give a good review.
