The food is good. But that’s about it. Service can be OK, but it’s often painstakingly slow. And for anybody having food, allergies: stay away! This probably goes for all the Big Chefs restaurants, as the menu cannot be trusted.

They specifically state any allergens on the menu, but the problem is that they don’t regard that many allergens consist of different items. For instance, any courses stated as no milk may still contain butter. The manager specifically did not know that butter actually is a milk product. He kept claiming that “but there is no milk in this, only butter!” We tried very hard to convince him that butter actually is made from milk.

So if you suffer from allergies, be very aware. You probably will have to try hard to convince them that their menu is correct. And be sure that you have enough time when going, it took more than 55 minutes from we ordered until the food actually arrived - At that time there were probably two or three other...

Located along the promenade of the contemporary district of Izmir, this restaurant boasts a huge menu ranging from authentic Turkish food to Italian and American cuisine as well. However, it also has a pretty strong selection of veggie food. The garlic bread with cheese was more like a pizza with its toppings. The tomato and cheese manti were new to me. So the view, the menu and the ambiance is amazing, BUT. If you speak English ask for a Turkish menu to make sure the waiter understands your order otherwise you order, get a "yes" and nothing will happen. After 15 minutes you can ask again for your order, get another "yes" and still wait for your food. Then you can ask for a menu, point to what you order and maybe something will happen. Maybe. I went to much remote place in Turkey where nobody spoke any English and I got a much better service. Anyway after an hour I had to leave because my order wasn't punched in. Worst...
