We were looking for a place to eat in Izmir, the owner offered us a table and we went to choose some mezzes, the kitchen suppose to be closed, after choosing the mezzes, they offer us a fish cacerole, we told him that probably will be too much food, he says to us that it was only a plate. So we say ok. When they brought us the food, they brought five mezzes of octopus what we didn't order and we realise we have too much food on the table, we told them if we could not have the fish cacerol and they told us it was too late, so we have to have it, this wast just a plate like they said. It was a big one. At the end of the dinner we have left so much food and we have a very big bill. The cacerole was 7525 liras, the octopus 2650 liras plus everything else what there is not complains about it. The only good thing I can say is that the food was very nice and tasty. Read moreMy husband discovered this gem and it became our favourite eating place. We were in Izmir for a wedding and ended up taking the whole wedding party for a meal, which they loved. We love seafood and were in our element, we could not eat enough. We loved that we were able to pick out the fish and know that we were eating fresh food. The fresh crunchy salad was to die for, it is the best salad we have ever had. If this restaurant was down the road from us, we would be eating there a lot. The atmosphere was great, the waiters and the rastaurant owner were fantastic. I rarely write reviews, but on this ocassion, I felt compelled to. Thank you Kordonboyu Balik for making our experience in Turkey...

The eggplant appetizer was so good I wanted to order another! Waiting for my soufflé now, which I’m sure...
