Pizza Mio&Vino — Restaurant in Kuşadası

Overall, the experience was good, but there’s definitely room for improvement. We had booked a table for a large group in advance, but when we arrived, the table wasn’t set at all. Even after we had ordered our food and received the starters, no one brought us plates or cutlery. They were only given to us after we specifically asked for them. There were also no napkins to place on our laps. As for water, we weren’t given any glasses — only one person in our group received one.

The food was generally decent and made with quality ingredients, but there were some flaws. The pizza was tasty, though the four cheese pizza was extremely salty, and I couldn’t detect any blue cheese in it. The carpaccio was presented correctly, but it was drowned in balsamic vinegar, which completely overpowered the flavor — it was so acidic it made my eyes water, and I couldn’t finish the dish. Ideally, this dish should be served without any balsamic dressing, or the vinegar should be offered separately so the guest can decide whether and how...

Despite having a confirmed reservation, we were left waiting for more than an hour. When we finally asked, we were told that our reservation had been canceled because a group of women arrived and apparently couples were not welcome. Absolutely unacceptable.

When we eventually managed to sit down and order, the experience didn’t improve. Two pizzas took around 45–50 minutes to arrive, and even then, they were served 20–25 minutes apart. The staff was extremely unfriendly, drinks were forgotten, and when the bill came, they tried to charge us for the drinks we never even received. When we questioned it, they went as far as threatening to call the police and accused us of having consumed them.

The pizzas themselves were average at best – nothing worth the wait or the drama. The only redeeming factor is the location, which is actually very cool.

Pizza Mio Vino is truly a hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere. The place has such a cozy yet stylish vibe — perfect for a relaxed dinner with friends or a romantic evening out. The pizza was absolutely delicious; you can really taste the quality of the fresh ingredients and the love that goes into making each one.

What made our night even better was the incredible wine selection. The staff recommended a local red that paired beautifully with our pizza, and we ended up ordering a second bottle because it was so good! The service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
