Of 20+ countries that I have visited in my life, I have had some of the best food and best hospitality I have ever experienced in Turkey. This restaurant was the exact opposite of all that. I have almost never received such a rude treatment in any restaurant in the world and terrible food. I and my family normally live in Dubai. So seeing sky high prices for food is nothing new to us. The waiter asked us not to order from the menue and instead order from the fresh fish they had in the fridge. Their prices were absolute rip-offs even for 5 star Dubai destaurant standards. I doubt that the prices they told us (which were not on the menue) were the prices they were offering to other customers... probably because they saw foreigners and they wanted to milk us. We decided not to order that rip off sea food they asked us to order and instead asked for other stuff from the menue which had reasonable prices. That changed their attitude towards us dramatically. By dramatically, I mean when the food came the waiter literally kinda threw the food at the side of our table and left. We were shocked to say the least. Even at a 2 start cheap restaurant in Turkey and most places in the world, the waiters have the manners to place the food in front of each customer. In this restaurant, we had to pick up the food that the waiter left at the corner of our table and serve ourselves. When the so called mezze platter that is for sharing came, the portion was not even for 1 person. We had already asked the waiter if it was enough for 3 adults and 2 children to share together and he told us "yes". Absolutely terrible food for that price which I can kinda forgive but their extremely rude manners towards us was just shocking. A few nights later we decided to go to "Nil Balık" restaurant which is around the same area and had a much...

We ate here twice during our two-night stay in Marmaris, which is a testament to the high service levels and food quality. The team are so positive, with plenty of laughter and smiles that make your dining experience even more rewarding.
On our first night, we met a lovely couple, and we fast became friends; it was a night full of laughter and fun.
Dede Restaurant is what we class as fine dining so that you can choose from the freshest of fish on display to tasty steaks and much more. The menu is varied enough but not so large that it would compromise the food quality, the chef brings his A-game, and you won't be disappointed. The swordfish was mouthwatering!
Dede Restaurant is the place to enjoy a slow lunch or dinner with premium wine more than a sunset cocktails venue. For cocktails, Alice Marmaris is the place to be.
The white table clothed tables take this restaurant up a level compared to most other dining establishments along the marina in Marmaris. Perfect location for a lazy afternoon lunch or dinner while gazing at the various charter boats trying to lure another group of tourists into a tour.
This is a premium restaurant, so expect to pay for the quality of the food and surroundings; think crisp white linen table cloths and impeccable dressed team members.
With an extensive wine list covering both old and new world wines, plenty of hidden gems will make you want to return. We felt like part of the family after only two visits. Thank you to Baran and the incredible team from front to back of the house; you made our stay in Marmaris...
Read moreWe had mixed feelings about our experience at Dede. The food was lovely—definitely upmarket, with beautifully presented dishes that showcased refined flavors. The front-of-house staff member was excellent, accommodating us quickly despite the busy atmosphere, and made a great first impression.
However, the rest of the staff seemed rushed and inattentive throughout our visit, which affected the overall experience. At one point, a staff member knocked over a bottle of wine at a nearby table while rushing around, highlighting the chaotic service. We also weren’t offered dessert or after-dinner drinks, giving the impression that the staff were more focused on turning tables quickly than providing a quality dining experience.
On arrival, my husband, who is diabetic, needed a sugary drink due to low blood sugar. When I went to ask for one myself from the bar, I was met with sarcastic comments from the staff—something I found unnecessary and inappropriate, especially given the medical urgency.
Overall, while the food at Dede was delightful, the inattentive and rushed service took away from what could have been a truly memorable...
