tam bir burger — Restaurant in Marmaris

Shocking. Ordered birria tacos and food was burnt black. There was a coal mine on my plate. Chef CLEARLY tried to hide his awful cooking by placing the worst of charcoal tortilla underneath. However, upon picking up my birria taco, i was greeted with an offensively dark, charred taco. Blacker than me after a day at the beach. Beef in taco was WILDLY unseasoned and they have the cheek to not provide salt or pepper. Food took ages despite there being only 2 tables in the whole restaurant with customers. Burger was mediocre. Chips were greasy and visibly shiny. Revolting. Cheese sticks were bland and flavourless. Restaurant is empty and soulless. Workers are likewise. Evil waiter stepped on my brand new shoes and did not move his filthy, disgusting feet. Left BLACK marks on them - but surprisingly not as black as my tacos....

We chose this place because one of my twins had the foods he liked on the menu. No one inside yet and with a skeptical approach, we had no idea what we were in for. We live in Seattle and had no intention to try an American burger here in Marmaris. Boy, were we wrong!!! We had the best burger I ever tasted at Tam Bir Burger. Another menu item amazed us was the French fries with Cajun seasoning. My twins and I agreed these were the BEST fries we ever tasted in Turkey 🇹🇷 Service was great so was the atmosphere. Popped into here as they were one of the only restaurants in marmaris who did not hassle us to go in and this was absolutely the best thing we could have done. Owners were so polite and welcoming, food was honestly the best we’ve had since being in Marmaris and our only negative is that we only found it on the last day of our holiday and can’t come back again. My partner had a burger whilst I went for the birria tacos and honestly the flavour of all the food was 10/10!
