FELIX (Marina) — Restaurant in Marmaris

WORST meal in Marmaris in two weeks. We ate here based on trip advisor reviews. Big mistake! Our mixed shared starter of chicken and onion rings was badly burnt but served to us anyway. My husband ate it but it was dried out and tough, severely overcooked/reheated! We tried to remain positive. I had the "salmon and bearnaise with prawns" for my main, it was served with a few bits of undercooked veg and some tartare sauce, not bearnaise so asked for bearnaise as advertised on their menu. He took my plate away and returned it 8 mins later with the same sauce PLUS some mayonnaise and soy sauce also. The salmon now tough and completely overcooked. The prawns consisted of half a prawn cut in half again! Utterly ridiculous! My husband had Texas chicken which was served with melted cheese and again tartare sauce plopped ontop of the melted cheese. It was absolutely revolting! It was 3 days before end of season in October so presuming we were fed the rubbish that was left and out of date. I ate 3 forks of salmon and half a piece of the prawn only before sending it back. I had food poisoning for two days. The food at the Felix was all I'd eaten all day so was 100% this fish. Thank goodness I didn't eat more than I did. We usually ate at The Marina restaurants every night but made the catastrophic mistake of eating at Felix. The seating was also very uncomfortable, much better quality of restaurants on the Marina. I'd AVOID this place like the plague. The Hans, Dede and Gusto are incredible restaurants...

This place only for tourist. Beautiful. But this all. They look only for money. I have some special day in my life and come for enjoying. I order Mochito cocktail with alcohol. They bring cocktail which been with so sour and bitter. Any sugar as must be.. to much lime ..And..without alcohol. I ask why like this. They said alcohol (Rum) inside have. But inside wasn’t any testy of rum. And I didn’t feel any relax. They lie to me because they think I’m tourist. That moment want stand up and go.. But I special go to them for seaview and enjoying with myself. When I start ask for put alcohol because in menu this price for alcohol coctail, they said in coctail must be or strowberry syrup or rum😵‍💫 How is it??? Look to menu! I can chose 4 different testy, but rum must be in all varieties! But they start prove me that I’m not right! their behavior was boorish. In finish I paid for this 🥴 bitter juice near 370 tl. They booked my important date and didn’t make me nice time(( I don’t will come...

The extra star I gave is only for the nice atmosphere and design of this place. But that’s all. Horrible overpriced. I just returned from Rodos and trust me you get better quality, bigger portions and much friendly attitude for same or even lower price there. Had two hamburgers with my wife, the bread was absolutely dry, the french fries same and the burger was small like a children menu. Not even mentioning taste, shame. This is unacceptable for the price you pay here. If you swim in money, dont care about the taste and just want to enjoy nice design, go there. If you want quality and taste for the price you pay, find somewhere else or go to a Greek island (saying it as a person who loves Türkiye).

Last thing, I felt different attitude towards foreigners and different towards Turks. My wife is Turkish and I didnt feel the same welcomed as foreigners (who were getting tables on...
