'Food cooked with love" that's how I have described this little hideaway in a little alley in the old town of Marmaris.
We stumbled across Ney on our way back to the apartment the night before and decided to go back for dinner.
The manager showed us to our seats two small flights of stairs. We sat by the window that had a nice view of the Harbour. It's a small place, very clean and cosy.
We didn't have a starter, but he brought us something similar to pita bread, but thinner. I asked for a small meal without any salt. My husband had the Ney special, meatballs covered with yogurt, rice and salad. I had chicken skewers with pita bread.
I could smell the being cooked whilst we waited, we didn't wait long. My husband had red wine and I had apple juice, with our dinner.
The meals were freshly cooked, as if they were done from his own kitchen at home.
The chicken skewers were lovely and he gave me some potatoes salad with my meal, that was very nice.
I highly recommend having dinner here. The service is very good and the manager Ishan, very friendly and can offer recommendations from the menu.

This little restaurant is a hidden gem with an amazing view. The owners are down to earth and obviously passionate about the food that is served.
We came in wanting to try a traditional Turkish meal so we were unsure what to get. The owner/chef described each dish along with photos which really helped us decide.

We would rather spend our money here than elsewhere with little care
(We unfortunately took no photos...
Read moreWhat an authentic Turkish experience we had! Cosy traditional restaurant located in old town and in over 300 years old house. Top terrace is best for dining. Great view of the marina and other houses plus fresh air. There was no lady who owns this place but our host did the great job. Welcoming from the start, very chatty and funny. Described every dish we asked about and convinced me to order something I would not normally go for but absolutely no regrets there!!!. The mixed meze was delicious and plentiful. Followed but tasty Ney special. Yummy as well. We were the only guests at the time so it was unusually pleasant. Prices are good and food like lovely home cooking. Loved...
