This is true Turkish food. The best Çorba i ever had in Turkey. İ tried the lentil soup at a couple of places in Istanbul but was highly disappointed, so i decided i will not try it any more. But today after traveling to Pamukkale, i was feeling a bit unwell and thought i just need some hot soup. İ asked a local shopkeeper uncle "where can i find good hot soup". He showed me the way to some Üstat. İ landed up at EGE. THE SOUP WAS OUTSTANDİNG!!!! Even the texture was different than other Corbas. İ was scared to add any spice seasonings as i didn't want to spoil the original taste of the soup. The free sides were also extraordinary tasting. Loved it! Tomorrow I'll be trying more things there. Looking forward to it. Afiyet...
Read moreWe went to eat early dinner at this place and it was really good.
Great service and the mantı are home made and really good (I had plenty of mantı through Türkiye so far).
The owner asked if I’d wish to have the yoghurt sauce with or without garlic. On top, a selection of spices was served alongside to refine to my own liking.
The prices are okay, it’s a tourist area after all. Less expensive than other restaurants closer to the travertines though.
Ezme, Cacık and bread were offered as well as watermelon as dessert, thank you one more time!
Would eat at this...
Read moreThe hosts were super nice and friendly while the food was one of the tastiest we've had in our 3 week road trip to Turkey! We had the tripe soup (this is an acquired taste, we know it from back home and we loved this one), manti (excellent!), turkisk eggplant (amazing!) and the fabulous menemem. All the dishes were super tasty, full of flavors and delightful. The host brought our son a complementary plate of melon and grapes and he enjoyed those at the end of the meal. Great family place, we highly recommended after the visit of Pamukkale terraces...
