Absolutely perfect experience here, largely thanks to our server Emre. I had questions about local Turkish wines which he handled like an expert, and then proceeded to serve us one of the tastiest meals yet. All the meze were on point, specifically the hummus, which had perfect texture. In fact, I have to say this is the best hummus I've eaten anywhere. (Traditional pita style bread would have been preferable to the white bread, but no matter.) The vibe inside was very chill, nice music and clean environment. Many other touristy places were empty, with hawkers trying to convince you to eat, drink, etc...but this place did not need that kind of ploy, and indeed the place filled up on its own. I loved the mixed grill, which came out on a sizzling platter with live fire beneath it. In addition to squash, tomato, eggplant and potato, the meats included tender chicken, steak kebap, and kefta style meatballs that were cooked medium rare and seasoned nicely. A fantastic rice pilaf finished the platter, getting nicely crispy as the fire underneath kept everything hot. Though prices in Pamukkale tend to be higher, I thought this meal was a great value, and I thank the entire staff for a...
Read moreWe went searching for Kayas Wine House based on the positive reviews, and the recommendations were spot on. We initially went for lunch and enjoyed the meal so much we went again for dinner to try some more options. Their Adana Kebab and Mixed Grill were the best items we had, everything was so flavourful and served on a sizzling plate with a burner. The picture is the beefsteak option, which was also good but the other items were better. Their buttery rice was delicious, as well as the bread and minty yoghurt dip. Finally, their hospitality cannot be beaten, some of the best service we experienced during our whole trip, and the 2 golden retrievers that walk around keeping the patrons company were an added bonus, Pamuk and her son. Highly recommend Kayas and the Adana kebab here is a...
Read moreWe ask our hotel manager where we could go with a wife and son for a dinner, he recommended this restoran - bar. My wife did't liked this place from begining. Because the staff was completly different from our previous place. Porcions were small and not what we had expected. During the time when we eated a staff swepted the floor, and all dust come to our meal. We waited for our ice cream 15 minutes, there were 6 people what looks working in this restoran, or it was too warm, that they all waited for evening, or they at evenings have so much clients, i don't know, we were alone guests for long time. Ice creams they did't bring, but 45 liras they asked, of course when we started to protest, the main guy woke up, but it...
