Checking off another item from the bucket list✅ For anyone who dreams of soaring above breathtaking landscapes, a hot air balloon ride in Turkey often tops the bucket list and the same was mine. Like most travelers, my first choice was Cappadocia, the famed land of fairy chimneys. However, as the winds of fate (and the actual winds) would have it, my balloon ride was canceled not once, but twice due to bad weather. Disheartened yet undeterred, I decided to pivot to another incredible try to my luck. While Cappadocia remains a dream for another day, the hot air balloon ride at Pamukkale was nothing short of magical. Pamukkale, known for its surreal white travertine terraces and thermal springs, had already been a highlight of my itinerary. I hadn’t initially planned for a balloon ride here, but I learned that Pamukkale offers its own version of this magical experience. With clear skies forecasted, I eagerly signed up It reminded me that sometimes, life’s detours lead to unexpected wonders. We were told to go to the office for pickup as they couldn't pick us up due to hotel location (15 min from their location). And because they couldn't pick us up, they requested higher deposit (€ 50 per person instead of the initial € 20). When we got to the location, there was no one there. It was pitch black, empty warehouse with a dog at the gate. We waited, I then called, and were told to go somewhere else. In the second location (cafe?), a man trying to make money for himself demanded money for a disgusting, dirty toilet. Clearly, he found an easy way to scam tourists.

If I hadn't called, no one would have known we were at the first location. When I did call, they didn't even know where I'd purchased my ticket from and didn't seem to understand why I was there. They told me there should be security guard there. There wasn't.

The field staff were nice people, but the organisation /communication side was poor from the office, unfortunately. It's just not a very good look for first-time customers.

Also, the website advertises the balloon ride as 1 hour in total, and the balloon "experience" as 1.5 hours. Our ascent and descent took 40 minutes in total, nevertheless was a good experience. It was fun to be up there for the short time we were.

The "champagne" they promoted as part of the ticket was sparkling, non-alcoholic fruit juice.

They did drop us back off to the cafe place they picked us up from though.

As you can imagine, with this price tag, we assumed they were a reliable company that knew what they were doing. No problem, we've learned our lesson.

Also, I requested our photos to be deleted that their pilot took as we didn't want them, and they include our child. I don't want to see our photos or videos used for marketing on social media. It'd be interesting to see how they comply with GDPR. I really think photo taking shouldn't be default these days.

Staff is probably what's saving this business. They are honest and work hard. I lost my gold bracelet and they were super quick to get organised and return it to me. It was a present from my mum, so I am forever grateful they found it and were honest enough to return it. Bize transfer için ofise gidin denildi ama oraya gittiğimizde kimse yoktu. Ben aramasaydım kimsenin ilk lokasyonda olduğumuzdan haberi olmayacaktı. Ben aradigimda nerden bilet aldigimi bile bilmiyorlardi.

Takim çalışanları iyi insanlardi ama organizasyon çok zayıf. İlk defa böyle birsey yapan müşteriler için hiç güven teşkil etmiyor.

Ayrıca, balon yolculugu toplamda 1 saat, balon "deneyimi" toplamda 1.5 saat diye pazarlaniyor web sayfasinda. Havaya cikisimiz inisimiz toplam 40 dakikaydi. "Şampanya" diye pazarlanan da köpüklü alkolsüz meyve suyuydu.

Takdir edersiniz ki bu kadar paralar istenince, biz ne yaptığını bilen güvenilir bir şirket zannettik ama yanılmışız. Önemli degil, dersimizi ogrenmis olduk.

Ayrıca, bizim cekilen fotoğraflarımızı silmelerini rica ettim. Fotoğrafları satin almadik ve içinde çocuğumuz da var. Sosyal medyada fotoğraflarımızın veya videolarin pazarlama icin kullanıldığını gormek istemem.

Would not recommend. My balloon flight on Oct 3 was confirmed cancelled on Oct 2 evening due to bad weather forecast. Today is Oct 21 and deposit refund is still not received. I contacted this company multiple times and each time asked to wait 5-7 business days for refund. I have started dispute with my credit card company since there is no point waiting anymore. I had refunds from different companies in Turkey during travel, no issues with other companies except this one.
