Unfortunately the food experience has erased any other nice experience that the view and atmosphere had. Good: view, style and service Bad: music, and the food we ate - specially for the price we paid. We tried the tuna open sushi dish. The tuna was drenched in sauce and spices. Overall it tasted ok but i love tuna and wanted to taste the fish. On its own the tuna didn’t taste great. It was strips and not slices. Then we tried the steak tartar but had to send it back after one bite. In my opinion (for someone who has tasted tartar in every country i travel to) the tartar was overkilled by spices and an after taste that reminded me of turkish spicy raw meatballs. And this dish was NOT warned to be spicy hot (no symbol of🌶 ). I read other people wrote it was good, yes it was not bad if you like the turkish meatballs, but it is not tartar as you know it. You couldn’t taste the meat at all and it was dry. The weirs thing was that you can’t have it without the hot spice, meaning they don’t prepare it fresh. Which I think is a big no no. We then ordered the bonfile and that was good. Mind what you order if you have allergies as the menu don’t disclose all ingredients of salads fx. The quinoa salad come with onions and the menu didn’t say that. So my aunt had to remove the onions one by one... and the white pricy wine we had was not good either. Though the juices were good!! over all, i would recommend this place for a simple coffee after the museum, to enjoy the view and take a break. But spend your money on food...
Read moreWent to see what the hype was all about and figured out i had been here before on a private wedding reception- so they do special events. There are no signs upon entering and the guard at the gate of the museum wont give a detailed direction on how to get to the restaurant. You have to go up a bunch of stairs until you reach the top, enter the museum and go through security and then turn right from security to get to the restaurant itself. Food is good but the servings are lacking. The shrimp paella we got was 1300tl for 2 people but it was only enough for 1. The bottom was also burnt because it was so thinly spread out to make the pan look full. Not the paella i though i’d get. Good service with a very attentive staff that are bilingual as well. Good lounge music playing on a centralized speaker and a good view to match. Could have eaten elsewhere for roughly the same price but bigger servings. There IS a service charge included in...
Read moreThe restaurant it is located on a well known museum. The guar on the entrance guide us to the top of the hill to leave the car to the vale. Entrance is well defined if you been at the museum before. The ambiance and service are good, waitress bilingual most of them. The food in the other hand was poor. We asked for Pad Thai (rice noodles to stick yo each other, extremely much green onion ), the real chicken nuggets (nothing special), falafel lettuce cups (fast cooked, burned outside), artichokes with prawns... never taste the artichokes. Sushi had so much cucumber and the taste of the fish was gone. Carpaccio again nothing special in taste. Beef dish came cold to the table, the texture was strong. I was expecting better performance from this kind of restaurant. Hope to surprise me if I go there again but not sure about it. We went there with foreign guests and they were also...
