Yesterday, July 15, 2022, I had the joy of being able to marry the woman I love and we decided to share our joy by sharing a lunch with our family and closest friends. With all our enthusiasm we hired a private room for 16 people to enjoy a relaxing time and enjoy a good meal but what has happened to us in this place was that the attention has been really disastrous the girl who charged us at the reception did not he never had a good attitude and furthermore he didn't bother about anything or help us organize anything, he just charged us the 35,000 shillings and didn't do anything else for us, after sitting for half an hour and seeing that no one came to bring us or food or drink I went to ask what was happening that nobody came to serve us the food was when this lady told me that we should go to the buffet and serve ourselves, the food was of low quality, we did not have many options, the potatoes were cold, the skewers The chicken ones were dry and the beef ones were so hard that they could not be eaten The staff that attended the buffet did not show any interest in serving the clients and after all that we returned at the table with our lunch that more typical of a wedding seemed more like a video than the one I have eaten when I was in the army. In addition to all this and after having finished eating my plate of food, I had to ask again that they bring me something to drink and the response of the supposed person in charge of reception was that I myself approached the bar and asked another to see about our drinks and the response of the young man who attended me at the bar was that you wait about 5 more minutes and that they would bring me a glass of fruit juice that was not enough and that we had to pay an additional price for our drinks. The place has just opened and this is my first visit. I arrived for an early dinner and was disappointed to find out dinner buffet wasn’t offered until 7pm, and he stressed, 7 sharp. I wanted to order off the menu and was told that only chips and chicken were available. I said I would come back later and decided to walk around for the next hour and a half. I arrived about 5 minutes to 7. I ordered my soda, which sadly they only have coke projects, no Pepsi products. I ended up waiting until 7:30 when the waiter came and told me I could now go get salad but the main courses were yet to be ready. Finally around 7:45 main courses became ready. Once there was finally food, I enjoyed. I took small amounts of many items, taking 3 plates of food and another plate of desert. There was only one item I took that I didn’t finish; the rest of the food was very enjoyable and fresh. They have a great selection of courses and varieties and it surely can’t be beat. The deserts were also very good. The cakes were a little dry as many times they are in Uganda, but everything tasted wonderful. I highly recommend the place. The only drawback is the fact that the buffet doesn’t run all day, that from 4-7 there’s almost nothing to eat. I’ve not known a dinner place that didn’t open until 7pm. While many times I eat late myself, it sure is nice to have the option to take dinner at 6pm and judging by the number of people who were there before 7pm waiting, I don’t think I’m alone in this matter. They should consider starting dinner at 6pm at the very latest. Lastly, billing was somehow complicated. I received an invoice for the buffet, from one side of the restaurant, and a drink bill from the other side, and they have to be paid accordingly. That was annoying. But...
