MAMAMIA RESTAURANT — Restaurant in Kampala

It was the first time to enter Mama Mia restaurant even though I have been past it several times. Nearly 3 meters across and long, seats 42 customers maximum at a time. The food is fairly good. My hot chocolate was just warm and I like it hot. The fish and chips my wife ate was excellent. My vegetable pizza was moderately good. The service was good. Some waiters were steadfast in attending to clients. Our waiter was sort of absentee most of the time. But the restaurant maintains a bell system, so you press a bell and either another waiter attends to you or they look for your waiter. It is a good system except that the bell rings and they are not clear which of the 21 bells rang, so your face or hand shows you need help. Better than nothing. I went to wash my hands and the loos looked clean and free of smell and flies. I did not check the toilets, though. The food tool long to get ready so we waited some bit. Their customer care is lacking at the Kampala Road branch. The waitresses are like they are just forced to work. I entered and sat fir some good time and no one was attending to me. I rang tge bell 3 times b4 a waitress would reach out to me. I ordered for something to eat plus tea, she brought only the food so I just decided not to remind her paid for the food and left I was already pissed. Your waitresses should change their attitude coz its what either draws customers to u or away from u.i hv been there a number of times hoping 4 a different experience each time but I wasn't amused at all. Poor customer care service. My friend and I ordered for sweet and sour fish. It tasted like it had been dipped in all things sweet but no sour. When we asked the waitress she said if we put the sour you won't like it. Like seriously we knew what we wanted. Long story short even after taking it back they just reduced the sweetness but there was no sour blend in it. Plus she forgot cutlery and mixed our takeaway orders. Will i go back there? I...
