We went to the Catch restaurant during our stay at the St. Regis hotel in January 2023. The restaurant has a great position offering stunning views of the bay and providing a delightful and stylish interior design. There was excellent live music during our stay. We chose the Catch restaurant to have sushi since the restaurant is recommended for sushi. The menu, however, offered only a limited choice of rolls (ten different types), nigiri (salmon, tuna, hamachi), and sashimi (salmon, tuna, hamachi). We placed an order to taste different rolls and the three different nigiri and sashimi. But, to our surprise, there was only salmon available. This circumstance reduced the variety to one-third of the offered sushi. The wine list offers a long list of different wines from many countries. However, being from Italy, I wanted to order white wine from Italy. Unfortunately, the choice of Italian wines was minimal and contained only very insignificant wines, which, however, are very high priced for their poor quality. Moreover, some of the wines had screw caps. I must point out that in Italy, not even Pizzerias offer bottled wine with a screw cap since these kinds of wines are very basic. The few sushis served were tasty but nothing exceptional. The staff was friendly, but service quality was average by its best. Some examples: Both guests had sushi, but just one set of sushi sticks got provided,  and had to request additional ones. Further, after we had finished a course, the plates were not withdrawn. We had to order this and ask for new plates for the next dish. Since it was getting late (10:00 p.m)  the staff started to clear the non-occupied tables while several guests were still dining. Unfortunately, when it was time to pay, no one showed up, and I had to go to the entrance counter to request the check. The mentioned negligence might be acceptable in a simple place. However, since the Catch is recommended by the Michline guide and is part of the St. Regi luxury hotel, the service and quality should range up to the hotel's standard, and the prices requested by the restaurant

We had a truly magical evening at Catch at St regis. From start to finish everything about out experience here was amazing. Maria kindly gave me the choice of several tables and recommended a wonderful table on the terrace with the most spectacular view of the marina and beach. She was very attentive and brought out some colouring pages and pencils for my child to keep her occupied! We were then served by Shubham who attended to us throughout the evening. He gave us some menu recommendations and in general was just so pleasant and you could tell how passionate he was without being overimposing in anyway. You could tell the food was very fresh. again they made little touches which really left such a great impression with us such as bringing out a plate of macaroni and cheese which wasn't on the menu for my daughter. The food was amazing only thing I was not too keen on was the pak choi that came with my seabass but that was more a personal preference and the fish was just slightly salty for my liking again personal preference.we ordered the braised short ribs which just melted in the mouth. The calamari was perfectly crispy. My husband ordered the charcoal grilled tiger prawns which were also amazing. Shubham then surprised us with a lovely dessert for our anniversary which was some chocolate and coconut mochi. They had a live singer and saxophone player which really added to the whole ambience. The restaurant itself was so beautiful. The service was nothing short of amazing and definitely one of the best meals I've ever had. Thank you Shubham, Maria and the wonderful team at Catch

I had a lovely dinner at Catch. I really wanted to try the local oysters and the presentation was beautiful on a bed of smoking ice. I wasn't thrilled with the flavor of this variety of oyster, it tasted a bit fishy as opposed to fresh and briney which is what I am used to. The starter basket of fresh rice crisps with Pesto and olives was refreshing and light. The Baby Spinach and Berry salad was light and fresh, full of a great combination of textures and flavors and a great starter. The service was attentive, but not intrusive. The servers were knowledgeable and friendly and provided good explanations of the menu items. I did not catch the names of all the servers, but the nice man originally from Nepal was very helpful and Ibrahim, who is originally from Egypt, was efficient and attentive. This was overall a lovely, relaxed dining experience. There was also nice live music earlier in the evening. I plan to return to sample some other menu items. I did return and absolutely loved the salmon and the salmon sashimi. The yellowtail sushi was excellent as well. The staff prepared wonderful mocktails for me and service on my other visits from Mohammed from Morocco and Ibrahim from Egypt was delightful! The manager Vishnu, and chef also came to visit my table and welcome me as I became a regular visitor that week.

We recently celebrated one of our special days at Catch in St. Regis and returned extremely pleased, not just with the delicious food and flavors, but with the entire dining experience, including the smooth live music 🎶

The dishes evolved in both flavor and texture, showcasing the passion evident in each creation by the Chef Keesav & his team, resulting in delightful and flavorful bites.

We indulged in quite a few signature dishes & they lived up to all the expectations!

✨Signature Crab Salad was a harmonious blend of fresh crab meat, crisp tobiko and a delectable Datterino Tomato dressing. Each bite was a burst of flavor and texture, making it a standout dish. ✨Prawn Tempura Rolls were a crispy and savory delight. The combination of crunchy tempura batter and succulent prawns with just the right amount of Takuan meant it was yummy but not heavy. ✨Blow Torched Dynamite Rolls were a flavor explosion with a perfect balance of creamy and spicy elements of Salmon, Tuna, Creamy Crab, Orange Tobiko. The blow torch added a smoky depth to the dish, elevating it to a whole new level. ✨Sashimi was a showcase of the fresh, seafood, expertly sliced and presented. Salmon Carpaccio was a delicate and elegant dish. The thinly sliced Scottish salmon was drizzled with a zesty Jalapeño dressing & topped with Katsuobushi, Shiso-Yuzu Garlic Condiments, creating a refreshing and light appetiser. Tough competition with the Signature Crab Salad! ✨Veg Gyōza a vegetarian delight, with a perfectly seared exterior and a flavorful filling of Sweet Corn, Kimchi, Shitake Mushroom, topped with a tiny shimeji & sprig of sea grapes that burst to amalgamate all flavours together . The dipping sauce drizzled over complemented the dumplings beautifully. ✨Chicken Kushiyaki was grilled to perfection, boasting a smoky flavor and tender texture. Each skewer was a savory treat with a lovely light Japanese marinade, Crusted with Bubu Arare and Togarashi dusted Avocadothat complemented each other very well ✨48 Hours Miso Marinated Black Cod was a melt-in-your-mouth experience. The fish was delicate, buttery, and infused with umami flavors that lingered on the palate, heightened by the accompanying Green Papaya salad & Miso Yuzu Sauce ✨Catchamisu ~ To round off the meal, the Catchamisu was a delightful twist on the classic tiramisu, a perfect wrap up!

Overall, the dining experience was a culinary journey that left a lasting impression. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, showcasing the chef's skill and creativity. It was a feast for the senses that's highly recommended to any...
