First Clique & Royal Prestige Restaurant & Café Marina Square — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Yesterday we had a wonderful afternoon at the First Clique where we enjoyed an elegant meal. .

We opted to be seated inside at the restaurant but just visited over to the outside seating area, which is more for smokers or those who want a little outdoor ease to experience.

Our order included: DRINKS : Mojitos - very presentable, refreshing and huge in quantity.

APPETIZERS: Prawns Popsicles - big crispy prawns plated on an orange and served with a sauce dip and fresh fruits.

MAINS : Beef Steak with mushroom sauce that is served with asparagus and steamed vegetables. - Cooked to perfection.

PASTA : Tagliatelli Alaska with chicken and mushrooms in pink sauce - The sauce complements the pasta very well.

BURGER: Signature Injection Beef Burger plated with good amount of French fries and a coleslaw. (huge patty, layered with fresh slices of Avocado, lettuce and tomato) - an injection of cheese is emptied into the bun and this is a perfect sight to see. The cheese flows down through the burger and tastes perfect.

Each dish was uniquely presented at the table.

This is a good place to enjoy a meal surrounded with ambience so pleasing and peaceful.

Staff are very welcoming and attentive.

This was out first time at this restaurant and we had an excellent experience and would definitely recommend to others. Very good value for money and fantastic food and service.

I used to enjoy coming here as the shisha is good. but I was shocked that in Ramadan they charge 50AED per table. I came alone so I didn’t find the cost justifiable (if I was in a group of 2 or 3 people then the cost could be shared). I wasn’t informed of it prior to being seated. When I was given a plate of nuts I asked if it was a free service they confirmed yes. When I received the bill I found this charge.

I think this practice would lead to losing customers on the long run for the sake of a short term gain. They need to rethink this and at least inform us customers. Who might not see the sign on the door which is apparently only done during Ramadan.

I usually give 15% tips but this practice takes away tips from the servers (who will put a tip after being charged 50AED as “tent charge”?)and pisses off customers. I given 3 stars as they waived the charge after I talked to the manager (I had to wait around 30mins to get this resolved, from 1am to 1:30am) . But I will not be returning during Ramadan...

In general, First Click is a nice go to place for a chilled day and a coffee or dinner in Reem Island.

I like the outdoor seating area but unfortunately its by the service road, its not as quite, yet, i go their at least twice a week.

The staff are very nice and super friendly, their manager came himself asking us about the service and the food.

The food was good and their coffee is usually good, they have as well a starbucks option.

They provide screens for watching matches in football nights and they allow playing cards and board games.

The only downfall i see is the parking, although you can park in the basement parking, yet you are limited to one hour for free and you have to pay for the rest.

I would highly recommended specially if you are living in reem island and you want to chill...
