The Overlook — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

During my stay at the hotel, we decided to try this rooftop restaurant in search of a quieter dining experience away from the usual family-oriented venues. Unfortunately, it did not fully meet our expectations.

The food selection was quite limited, which was disappointing considering the premium pricing. We were particularly let down by the churros, which arrived very late and had an unpleasant smell, likely from frying oil that didn’t seem fresh. As a result, we couldn’t eat them.

The sushi was decent, but nothing exceptional, and the selection bowl we ordered was inconsistent. The duck portion, in particular, wasn’t enjoyable and went uneaten, while the other components were just average.

The atmosphere on the rooftop was nice and more peaceful than other dining areas, but the food quality didn’t justify the high prices. I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible spot, and I can’t recommend it enough! The atmosphere is super chilled — perfect for a relaxed day after work or a casual get-together with friends.

Now, let’s talk about the sushi… absolutely divine! Every bite was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Chef Yasmine truly knows her craft — thank you for the delicious creations that left us wanting more!
