Rain Yas Mall — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

I was really excited to try Rain at Yas Mall, and was disappointed. The service levels were extremely poor, and the food was below average.

We were surprised at how quickly the waiter was trying to take our order, which came across as them trying to clear the table faster.

The experience got worse, when our food started arriving 10 minutes apart. There were 3 of us, and we had to eat separately. Different waiters asked how our food was, and we kept emphasizing that we were still missing our dishes.

The icing on the cake was that one of us asked for a dish without onions. This had been emphasized several times when placing the order. To our surprise, the dish arrived with onions.

The food was nothing special. My shakshuka was very watery, and looked like no effort was put into making it. The cheese was barely melted, and the sauce was quite bland.

We gave this feedback to the management team, who were kind enough to give us a discount on the bill. However, I do hope this feedback will be used to...

Amazing place that truly deserves five stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. The atmosphere is very cozy and comfortable, making it a perfect spot to sit and relax. The quality of the menu is excellent—the açaí smoothie was the absolute highlight, so refreshing and delicious. I also enjoyed the porridge, which was very tasty, and the V60 coffee, which was brewed perfectly.

What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was professional, kind, and very attentive. A special thanks to (Mr. Khalifa), who was incredibly helpful and welcoming, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns. His presence made the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, everything was wonderful and I would highly recommend this place!
