I recently dined here and overall, I’d rate my experience a 4 out of 10. The ambiance of the place was actually really nice, clean, cozy, and welcoming. It gave a good first impression and definitely one of the highlights of the visit.

As for the food, which was unfortunately quite underwhelming. I ordered their Seafood Feast, which at first seemed like a great deal considering the price. It came with unlimited rice, a pitcher of iced tea, and a small plate of fruit. Price-wise, it’s definitely budget-friendly. From a value perspective, it’s definitely affordable. However, the taste wasn’t there. The seafood was lacked of flavor, and you could barely taste the cajun seasoning, which should have been the highlight of the dish. It felt like it needed more depth and spice to bring out the actual flavor of the seafood. On top of that, the mussels and clams were not cooked properly, which made them taste malansa (fishy) and unpleasant. Freshness is key with seafood, and this unfortunately missed the mark.

I also tried the Kare-Kare, which had a 2 small portion of meat, but a generous amount of vegetables. But again, the flavor was disappointing. It didn’t have the rich, peanuty taste you’d typically expect from a good Kare-Kare. It was a bit bland and underwhelming, especially if you’re used to traditional Filipino flavors.

Lastly, the Dynamite Shrimp was a letdown in terms of value for money. The taste was alright, but the portion size was very small. Compared to other places offering the same dish, this one felt overpriced for the quantity provided. You’d expect more shrimp or at least better presentation for what you’re paying.

To sum it up, the place has potential, the staff was courteous, and the atmosphere is relaxing but the food still needs a lot of improvement in terms of flavor and portion value. If they can work on enhancing the taste and giving better value, it could be worth...
