Aleppo Grills' oldest and main branch in Sharjah continues to set the benchmark for all its other branches and franchises. The food quality, taste, portions, and service here are unparalleled.

This restaurant has an inspiring story. They began in a tiny shop at the end of the same street where they are now located. The original shop was so small it barely accommodated their kitchen, offering only takeaway and delivery of Aleppo and Syrian-style BBQ. Their unwavering focus on food quality and taste enabled them to expand massively in less than a decade. From that narrow shop, they now boast two large branches of Aleppo Grills, plus Kabab Zarzour specializing in Iraqi kabab, Shawerman for Syrian fast food like shawarma and broasted chicken, and Aleppo Sweets.

The restaurant offers dine-in, takeaway, car hop, and delivery options. The interior is nice, not overly fancy but comfortable. Initially, there were few tables inside, prompting an expansion. However, the glass-walled extension allows a lot of sunlight in, making it somewhat hot in the afternoons.

Their menu features a wide range of foods, from Syrian BBQ like kabab, shikaf, shish tawook, and grilled chicken, to various types of kebbeh, mansaf, shawarma, and broasted chicken. Every dish is incredibly tasty, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The meats, in particular, stand out, likely due to their in-house butchery. Their beef shawarma is the best in the UAE, bar none. The kababs and all meat-based meals are absolutely delicious.

However, there is room for improvement. The chicken shawarma could be better, and the broasted chicken, while good, has the potential to be much better. Additionally, the hot interior due to the glass expansion and the parking situation, which is problematic in this area, need addressing.

Overall, Aleppo Grills in Sharjah is nearly a 5-star experience. With a few improvements and solutions for the heat and parking issues, it could easily achieve perfection.
