I love trying out local and regional cuisines and that's why since I saw this restaurant online and it's menu, I've been wanting to eat the Pulao dishes they have, but unfortunately at the time of our dinning, my wife wanted biryani so I'll review the Pulao in another time.
The Mutton biryani was great, and I believe it's the most unique one we've tried compare to most Indian and Pakistani restaurants we've been to. I've tasted every bit of the rice and there are very interesting choice of spices there not seen on other biryani I've tried, tamarind and lemon slices.
The Muttong doesn't have any gamy taste at all, it's well spiced, tender and juicy. And the main reason I'm giving this a perfect score is when we asked for more meat since the original serving where few, they gave us a small bowl of tender juicy meat all for free, and that's what you call customer service.
The chicken charcoal was unique as well because it ain't red and it ain't burnt as well like it's normally served. Can't tell the spices though but it's certainly different. The thing to improve on is to add hummus and bread when serving this because that's pretty standard to most restaurants.
I love this place, waiters are accommodating, food are great and when we come back, I'll definitely order one of those meat pulao so I can have a taste of their...

I recently visited Al Kabab Al Afghani Restaurant and had mixed feelings about my experience. On the positive side, the food was excellent. The kebabs were flavorful, tender, and juicy, cooked with a perfect blend of spices that really highlighted the authentic Afghan taste. The lamb was particularly impressive, and the side dishes complemented the main course wonderfully. The portions were generous, so you definitely get a lot for what you pay.
However, there were a few drawbacks that I felt impacted the overall experience. The service was much slower than expected. We had to wait quite a long time before being attended to, and even longer for our food to arrive, which was frustrating. While the staff was friendly, they seemed overwhelmed, which contributed to the delay.
Another issue was the parking. The restaurant is located in a busy area, and finding parking was extremely difficult. I had to circle the block a few times before finally finding a spot, which added unnecessary stress to the visit.
While the food is definitely worth trying, the slow service and parking difficulties made the overall experience less enjoyable. I hope they can improve in these areas because the food is really great. I’ll consider returning, but only if these issues...
