Extremely Poor Service at Vegme Shj, Alwahda branch

Dear Vegme Management.

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service we recently experienced at your Al Wahda, Sharjah branch.

From the moment we arrived, the staff appeared completely disengaged. Despite multiple attempts to get their attention—both verbally and through direct eye contact—we were repeatedly ignored. It was clear that the team either lacked proper training or was severely demotivated.

We ordered two items, but only one was served after a 45-minute wait. After an additional 15 minutes without any update on the second item, we attempted to follow up. It took several tries before a staff member responded. When we finally managed to speak to someone—(not mentioning name)—he shockingly turned away mid-conversation without acknowledging our concerns.

Such unprofessional and dismissive behavior is entirely unacceptable, especially in a customer-facing environment. This incident points to serious deficiencies in staff training, service protocols, and overall management oversight at this location.

I recently visited this place and while it was clean and simple, the overall experience left me a bit disappointed. They haven’t invested much in interiors, but that’s okay — I actually appreciate the focus on cleanliness and hygiene. What brought the mood down was the attitude of the waiter. He seemed like he just wanted to take the order and leave. When we tried asking a couple of questions about the food, his responses felt cold and impatient — as if we were bothering him by simply being curious. That kind of service just puts you off. Coming to the food — the quantity was really poor. We were just two people, but had to order four different dishes to feel just full. Sure, the prices are cheap, but now I understand why. The taste was average at best, not something I’d go back for. Also, some basic things were missing — no tissues, no proper cutlery on the table and no soap in the washroom. Today I had my breakfast here at about 11 o'clock. I wanted to order dosa and other items, but they sold out all items except chapati, paratha vegetable curry, so we had paratha chapati and chai, overall food taste was awsm ❤️ ✅ no doubt.

But we had some communication issues with the guy who served us. 1st we ordered chapati and sabzi set, then we ordered 3 parathas, and we asked for extra sabzi and the guy said okay and leave, kept me on waiting, As I ran out of vegetables I ended up eating two of my parathas with tea😅

If you don't serve extra curry, then you should let us know when we asked for the extra right! You can even tell us that we have to pay extra! But u guys didn't do anything.

Another thing, you give us a cupon while ordering, but the second time we order the porota the guy takes the cupon from us and don't gave it back to us. We didn't have cupon with us when paying, and the counter girl was got nervous about what she had to do! And we had communication problems with that girl too. As we don't speak...
