I’ll start off with the direction to the restaurant. Apparently the Vista Square Hotel that’s stated on their google page ain’t exactly correct as the hotel’s name has been changed to Bliss Hotel. This means that me and my Mrs got there and couldn’t find the place as we went about trying to find the Vista Square hotel. Secondly, the food is absolutely horrendous like I’m Ghanaian and their food is easily the worst Ghanaian food I’ve ever eaten in my life and I’m not even a fussy eater. I ordered banku with okra stew and my wife ordered the jollof rice and I made the mistake of ordering the riceball with groundnut soup for take away. I literally had to chuck loads of salt in the okra stew to make it taste just ok enough for me to eat as I was mad hungry. As for my wife, she couldn’t even bring herself to eat the jollof rice and only ate the chicken and plantain that came with the jollof rice. In the end, I made the decision that it wasn’t nice that she barely touched her food so we decided bring it with us but has left it in the fridge as we’re both not gonna eat it. It was that bad. I genuinely question the reviews here because as a Ghanaian, the food is just awful. The guy who served us did his best as he appeared to be overwhelmed at certain points but his attitude was ok. All in all, I wouldn’t recommend this place but people are welcome to go try it for themselves. I don’t live in Dubai and if you’re a tourist like me and you live in central Dubai, then the journey to Deira where the restaurant is isn’t wealth the food and service. The price was very cheap and portions were very generous but the taste is absolutely terrible, so take it what you would but I won’t recommend this...
Read moreIf you love African food (Ghana Style) I highly recommend this place. For those that don't mind exploring Dubai you can come to this restaurant. It isin Vista Square Hotel. Just walk in go to the elevator and press M and you will arrive at this hidden gem! A+ (Great food! Prices Amazing!) I got the ground nut soup, with fried chicken, fried fish and cow leg all in a delicious ground nut soup with blended tomatoes, onions, chili and spices to make a delicious Ghana style soup. Accompanied with rice balls. You wash your hands with the bowl and the soap and water they provide at the table and then when your food arrives dig in. Once you try their food you will see why I will gladly travel from buisness bay to deira for this amazing food. PS. Parking in the area is scarce, I usually try to find private parking and pay 10dhs per hour then walk to...
Read moreAs a concern customer l have to draw the attention of the management. I have consistently have bad experience with placing orders and getting them in time. However, am not the only one facing this challenges.
Clearly many customers also struggle to get their orders taken and after your order is through u need to wait for about 1hr 30mint to get it. Today on 18th December, l arrived at the restaurant exactly at 4:05pm and got my other taken around 4:25pm but the unfortunate part is that am still waiting to receive my order. U can see frustration all over people’s faces when u look around.
We kindly request an improvement on the part of the management and the entire team coz we equally do not want to...
