Little Lamb Mongolian Hot Pot (Xiao Wei Yang) — Restaurant in Dubai

Little Lamb Hot Pot has a lot of positives—a friendly staff, great location, clean and pleasant ambiance—but my experience with the food was unfortunately disappointing. I’ve eaten at hundreds of restaurants, so it’s rare for me not to finish a dish, even if it’s not exactly to my taste. But in this case, I had to stop.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken, but something seemed off. It was overwhelmingly sweet without the usual sour balance, making it almost hard to stomach after just a few bites. I couldn’t finish it, which felt strange, especially in a place that has such a good reputation and a warm atmosphere. It seemed like a possible mistake in the cooking, so maybe it’s not their usual standard.

I had dinner at this restaurant with my friends. Although I am no stranger to east asian food, it was my first time trying hot pot. I went in with certain expectations as the reviews under this restaurant had given me a certain impression about this place. However, I was grossly misled. As I stepped in the restaurant, I was met with various hygiene issues. Cockroaches running around the open food area, and on the tables, there was hair in the bowls and overall the ambience was very stuffy. Still, I thought to give the place a chance, the food was okay, nothing new, and I’m sure I would have had better somewhere else. I don't know about the correct way of preparing hot pot, but in this branch, they have the tastiest. The price is reasonable because they will give you the best quality and taste that they have. From ingredients to staff. I can say all of the things you will put in your pot are fresh. In the menu, you can choose a large variety of meat and vegetables, only those things you want. If you don't have time to browse, they have combo pack at the back. It can be for 2-6 persons. The restaurant has great space, ambiance feel like you're in China or Mongolia. From table set up to pots used. Temperature is controlled inside. You will not feel hot and not cold. I used to order and eat combo 1, for 3 persons.
