(SPECIFICALLY DUE TO A MANAGER WHO DOESN'T HAVE ANY CONCEPT OF CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE)

Dear Al Dawaar Management,

Today (Saturday), we came to your restaurant with the expectation of enjoying the same wonderful experience we had previously. Unfortunately, this time we were forced to leave before even starting our meal due to an unacceptable situation.

The way your manager behaved was absolutely shocking. I have never encountered such rudeness, especially in the way he addressed my wife. This level of disrespect is not only unprofessional but completely unacceptable in any hospitality environment.

I would like to clarify one very important matter. We came with the intention of using the Entertainer package — the same option we had used before. Instead of being accommodated, we were told we were wrong, that what we said was “untrue,” and that this package did not exist in the way we described. This is not only false, but it was communicated to us in a condescending and dismissive manner.

We even offered to pay extra in order to stay, but instead of finding a solution, your manager decided to push us out of the restaurant. To treat paying customers in such a way, and to call us liars, is beyond comprehension.

We drove 40 minutes specifically to dine at your establishment. Instead, we left humiliated and disappointed. I am an entrepreneur myself, and I cannot understand how a business can operate successfully when its own management actively rejects customers and damages the restaurant’s reputation and profitability.

We’ve chosen the option of the brunch to take an opportunity and to taste whatever there was to taste. But still I’ll start with the place itself and come back to food a moment later. The restaurant is located on the top floor of Hyatt Regency Dubai, and gives 360 degrees view. Moreover, as the floor is revolving, you get to enjoy the view while having your meals. The interior is in pleasant colors, but of course the big attraction is the view - to the water one moment, to the city another one, just as the time flows. As for the food - the choice is quite rich, there’s abundance of everything. There’s seafood, namely, oysters, crabs, prawns, there’s Asian cuisine, there’s meat, and fish, and vegetables, and bread, and cheese - everyone can find something to their like. Also the section with desserts impresses with colors and tastes, there’s a great selection of cakes, Arabic sweets, fruit and ice cream. We really had a great time there. The thing you should keep in mind - is the movement of the floor. So if you usually get motion sickness, you can get a bit dizzy.
