I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rayyan Mandi, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The restaurant has a wonderful warm ambiance, welcoming, and very friendly. The seating was spacious and comfortable, and the entire place was clean and all areas well maintained, creating the perfect atmosphere to enjoy a meal.
The food was absolutely outstanding. I ordered the Mandi rice with meat, and it exceeded all my expectations. The rice was cooked to perfection fluffy, flavorful, and beautifully seasoned with authentic spices. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of rich, savory flavors that melted in my mouth. Every bite was delicious and clearly prepared with a lot of care and expertise.
Portions were very generous, making it great value for money, and the pricing was very reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food served. The service was also impressive. The staff was attentive, polite, and made sure we had everything we needed. One of the highlights was the complimentary tea and sweets offered at the end of the meal, which added a very special and thoughtful touch to the whole experience.
Overall, Rayyan Mandi is a fantastic spot for anyone who wants to experience authentic Yemeni cuisine in Dubai. Whether you’re dining with family, friends and or even solo, this restaurant is a must try to visit. Read moreWe recently visited Rayyan Mandi at Gold Souk, and it turned out to be an excellent choice for a flavorful, traditional meal. We were two people and ordered their Mutton Mandi, and honestly, it was one of the best we’ve had in a long time.
The Mutton Mandi was served on a generous bed of fragrant rice, with tender, juicy pieces of mutton that were perfectly cooked. The meat was soft, well-marinated, and full of flavor — it literally fell off the bone. The rice itself was aromatic and lightly spiced, allowing the flavor of the mutton to shine through. Together, they made a rich and satisfying combination that truly reflected the traditional Pakistani-style mandi many of us know and love.
What really stood out was how well-balanced the spices were — not too heavy, not too bland. It had that home-style comfort with a touch of restaurant finesse. The portion size was generous and easily enough for two people with good appetites.
Aside from the food, the restaurant was clean and well-organized, with a calm and welcoming environment. The staff was very cooperative and polite, attending to us promptly and making sure we were comfortable throughout our visit.
For anyone looking to enjoy an authentic mutton mandi in the heart of Dubai, Rayyan Mandi – Gold Souk is a must-visit. We left full, happy, and already planning our...

From walking in, you’ll notice the aromas of spices and slow-cooked meat. The mandi rice is fluffy, well-seasoned, and the meat—especially mutton or lamb—is tender and cooked just right. Many customers talk about the Mutton Madfoon and Haneeth dishes as standout choices.
Besides the main dish, the extras make a difference. Rayyan Mandi gives complimentary soup, sauces, salad, tea, and small sweet treats like luqaimat or doughnut-like sweets after the meal. These small touches raise the experience.
Service is usually friendly and helpful, though at peak hours the place gets crowded and waits for seating or food can get long. The interior is simple—nothing fancy—but clean and comfortable for casual dining.
Prices are reasonable for what you get: big portions, tasty meat, and those complimentary extras. Overall, Rayyan Mandi provides a satisfying, authentic mandi experience without pretension. If you’re in the area and hungry, it’s worth...
