Al Falamanki Lebanese Restaurant In Jumeirah Last week we went to dine in in a charming & rustic place called Al Falamanki in Dubai. It’s not only a son’s tribute to his father but also showcases the history & culture of Lebanon & its cuisine. The restaurant has a very interesting story which you can read on their menu. The moment you will enter the place, you will love it. The decor of Al Falamanki is just like a village. It is a perfect place to sit & play a game of cards or chess & listen to some amazing arabic music in the background. It has got both indoor & outdoor dining space, the indoor dining area has a retro feel, while the garden area is a perfect place for pleasant winters. It’s indeed one of the most beautiful restaurants in Dubai with most amazing staff. Coming back to food .... we went there for dinner ... To start with ... they suggested to have their “AYSH LAYSHET TREY”, which includes small plates of carrots, soaked Almonds & Lupine beans. ... best to have till you get your order delivered on your table. Regarding the Drinks, we tried - Falamanji cocktail ....which had mango, strawberry, banana & passion fruit. - Mkhafaaji .... which had Strawberry, orange & mixed berries. - Fresh mint lemonade - my all time fav. drink. & also - Fresh kiwi Mojito. All four drinks were fresh & delish. From the Salad & Starters, we ordered - ‘My Mother Souad’s Fattoush’.. It was made with fresh ingredients & tastes amazing too. - Hummus with meat & pine nuts- loved their hummus ... with lots of meat & nuts 😍 - Kafta Fatteh - Cheese rolls - Cherry Kafta.... grilled kafta dipped in yogurt with cherries. Everything was delicious. The only drawback was that there were no freshly baked bread...to go with the starters. Fresh breads are definitely something that any middle eastern restaurant serves to enhance the taste further. Other than this everything was awesome. In the Main course, we tried - Lamb Chops- served with grilled vegetables & potato fries - Almond Chicken escalope - scrumptious crispy & juicy - Kashkaval cheese & Turkey Saj.... was just ok for us. - Sizzling birds.... tiny Lebanese birds grilled in sumac & pomegranate molasses. .. the only thing which we would never want to taste again or May be our taste buds didn’t accept the taste of these grilled birds. Now .. most important discussion.... Desserts - Gateau Wmm Anis- a very delicious dates cakes with your choice of ice cream. - O Kindness on Baklava- freshly baked hot baklava served with a scoop of ice cream ... totally amazing. Highly recommendable. To end the dinner perfectly - Shisha & Moroccan Tea - we tried two flavors ... Al Falamanki special & Double Apple ... I must say ... they had amazing sheesha .. Note - Al Falamanki also has a small space dedicated to sells some products from Lebanon. Check out that corner for sure. To sum it all ..... Incredibly beautiful ambiance, tasty food, amazing sheesha & excellent service. Will definitely be going back with friends to chill ..... highly recommended...

I don’t know why this restaurant has never popped up on my radar. If fellow food adventurer @thuryataleb hadn’t told me about it, I would be none the wiser. It could be because I don’t usually go to shisha places. Thuraya described the restaurant’s interior best, “it’s as if it has been designed using furniture and stuff from your grandparents garage sale”. It is nostalgic to say the least. Although I have lived most of my life in the Middle East, I know very little about Lebanese food. So, it was great to have Thuraya there to order for us. We talked about a hundred different dishes and then decided on...mezze only: a very interesting Kale and Quinoa Salad with Shanklish crumbled in, Hummus with Meat, a really good Fattet Hummus, Kibbeh, Spicy Potatoes and finally some Chicken Musakhan Rolls – all good, nothing exceptional. We ended our meal with a delicious Booza with Ghazl el Banet. You can’t go wrong with ice cream. If you don’t mind the smell and smoke of shisha, this is an enjoyable restaurant; one where you can spend a lazy afternoon or a buzzy evening. It has a friendly, laid-back vibe, something reflected in its service staff. Although I enjoyed the food and the ambiance, only the company I was in will entice me back.

I had the most incredible time at Al Falamanki in Dubai. The place had such a charming ambiance, and the style and decor really transported me back in time to an old Lebanese restaurant. Even though we had a reservation, there was a bit of a wait, but it wasn't too bad. The only downside was that there wasn't a non-smoking area, which made the place look a bit foggy at night and made it a bit challenging for us non-smokers to fully enjoy the atmosphere. However, my only suggestion for improvement would be to have more space between the tables. This would enhance the overall atmosphere and make it the perfect place to chill. But let me tell you about the food - it was absolutely divine! I couldn't get enough of everything I tried their Taboleh, Akawi cheese, flafel, koubeh, Emirate Fateh, beef rose shawermah and more... . What made it even more special was how they named their dishes. Each one had its own unique name, reflecting their identity, and it added an extra delightful touch to the whole dining experience. All in all, Al Falamanki left a lasting impression on me, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to savor delicious food in a nostalgic setting with a touch of creativity.

In my opinion the place is highly overrated and doesn't deserve the propaganda that it came with. Been to the original place in Beirut and a huge gap between both, there u feel the real taste of beirut and the place is spacious with indoor and outdoor areas , while the one here in Dubai is just a BIG PACKED cafe like any other. The food wasnt also tasty at all and although the waiter recommended it (Lebanese Burger) i would say any frozen burger made at home will be much tastier and better made. Even the Shisha is not good and costs 70+, while other cafes nearby is maximum 55 to 60 ! The prices are also higher than average that you would pay for food , drinks and shisha , why? The shock was the Valet parking , which is a normal practice in Dubai restaurants and cafes that it is a free service, but Falamanki has new standards ... 14 aed service fees , while u can easily find a parking as its a neighborhood in jumeira not a business area !! One time try and never again , only gave 2* due to my lovely experience to the original Falamanki in Beirut.

The place is nice but for my opinion it was made only for day time...it's incredibly beutiful in a sunny day sitting under the shade of a tree and enjoy ur food...but I dont think at night will be as much attractive as day time...the food was ok...they had a very nice lunch offer with discount on shisha 😍 but the food wasn't that amazing as the theme of the place and the shisha as well...it's a Lebanese restaurant and I expected a high quality food and shisha based on the theme and how the owner described the story of his father as he named it as his last name...overall it's a nice experience 👍.
