NAMMOS Dubai Review: A Slice of Mykonos Luxury on Jumeirah Beach
Nammos Dubai is more than just a restaurant; it’s an immersive, ultra-luxury dining and beach club experience that transports the legendary party vibes and Mediterranean elegance of Mykonos to the shores of Jumeirah Beach. Tucked beside the Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach, Nammos is a destination for Dubai’s chic, glamorous crowd.
The Vibe & Ambiance
Nammos is defined by its mood: chic, sun-drenched, and unapologetically lavish.
By Day: The atmosphere is laid-back luxury. Guests recline on plush sunbeds on the private white-sand beach, enjoying five-star service and the stunning backdrop of the Arabian Sea and the Dubai skyline. The decor features white-washed tables, crisp white linen, and an upscale bohemian aesthetic that perfectly mirrors its Greek heritage. By Night: As the sun sets, the energy shifts to a super-lively, club-like atmosphere. It becomes a dazzling hotspot for late-night dinners, shisha, and dancing under the twinkling Arabian sky.
The Cuisine: Mediterranean Elegance
The menu is a refined take on Mediterranean gastronomy with international (often Asian) influences, featuring an emphasis on the freshest seafood.
Must-Try Signature Dishes:
Shrimp Risotto: A highly praised Greek twist on the Italian classic, made "saganaki-style" with rich tomatoes and tangy feta cheese. Fresh Fish & Seafood: The daily catch is a major highlight, often displayed and then grilled simply with olive oil and lemon. Larger fish can be filleted tableside. Aubergine Mille-Feuille: A popular appetizer featuring crispy fried aubergine layered with oozing feta cream cheese. Steaks: For meat lovers, Nammos offers premium cuts, including world-renowned Kobe beef and excellent Wagyu Ribeye. Salads & Starters: Don't skip the Burrata Salad or the signature Nammos Salad with its divine orange, soya, and balsamic vinaigrette.
Price and Service
Nammos is a top-tier luxury venue, and the pricing reflects this exclusive experience.
Price Range: Expect a meal to be in the $$$$ category, with the average cost around AED 400-500 per person (excluding luxury items like Kobe beef or high-end Champagne). It is an expensive choice but delivers a spectacular, all-encompassing experience. Service: The service is generally described as attentive and professional, though some reviewers note minor inconsistencies during peak hours. The team is dedicated to providing VIP-level attention, especially in the restaurant area.
Special Features
NAMMOS Village: A glamorous spot for luxury fashion and shopping. Luxury Cabanas: Four extravagant cabanas are available, offering private hot tubs, personal butler service, and VIP transport for the ultimate in exclusivity. Reservations: Essential, especially for dinner and weekend beach or lounge access.
Final Verdict
Nammos Dubai is the ultimate destination for those looking to combine exceptional Mediterranean dining with a stylish, lively, and exclusive beach club atmosphere. Come with your "gladrags" and a "frisky credit card," and be prepared to be swept away to the most luxurious side of Mykonos. It’s an ideal choice for a celebratory, long, leisurely lunch or a glamorous...
Read moreThis is a restaurant whose sole focus is aesthetics and atmosphere. From the entryway to the scented hand cloths and palette cleansers they provide at the end of your meal, they curate a “luxury” experience. However, the lack of customer service, blatant difference in treatment of certain customers (speaking specifically of race), and unfavorable food gives this restaurant one star, who is really deserving of zero.
Upon entry, we were faced with difficulty as we were told they could not find our reservation in their system. After waiting roughly 10 minutes we were then seated. Upon ordering, in this being our first time visiting we’d inquired about a few items on the menu. Our waiter rudely responded to our curiosity with, “you all need to read the menu and I’ll come back after you’ve read it”. Keep in mind, many of the appetizers, sushi dishes, etc., do not have descriptions or special indicators. Upon his return, we then ordered both appetizers and entrees. Being this was a Greek/Mediterranean style restaurant, I opted for the Greek salad as my appetizer. Prior to ordering, I noticed this was served table side and the waiter would chop, toss, and dress your salad prior to serving. When I was brought the dish it was simply sat in front of me and the waiter retreated to the kitchen. Following being served, I then noticed other customers who ordered this salad and still receiving table side service. Regardless, of if I’d ordered this item alone or with a party, why was I not approached with the same service?
When trying our entrees, we were all underwhelmed. Most of our party did not finish their meal. One of my friends was so displeased with the taste/flavor that she asked if it’d be removed from her bill. She was then told the entree in question cannot be removed for a number of reasons, “Her fork was in the dish, already”, “this is their most popular entree”, “we sell out of this every night”, and my personal favorite - “why would you order something you didn’t like?”. As mentioned before, this was our first time visiting this establishment, so I’m not quite sure how one would know they do not like something until they try it.
There are many other obstacles/issues that can be discussed but in all, the menu is a bit misleading, the service is exceptionally poor, and the food is mediocre. If vibes are what you’re looking for book a reservation but if it’s quality you desire, I suggest...
Read moreBeen postponing a visit to Nammos for a couple of years and was a bit surprised after reserving a place to have dinner with my spouse when I saw that its a 3.7 on Google Review. Alas, a 3 out of 5 it is. There is plenty of space for improvement however regardless, it has a “monopoly” per se, because its a place where people want to be seen and instagrammed so dont think any changes are coming any time soon. The tables are available for 2 hours from booking. People kept on walking back and forth chaotically through the space between the tables inside the restaurant (there is an outdoor area) that made it feel like one is in a mall with high foot traffic. The ceramic tables are covered with one-time use paper rather than white cloth. With these little details and bleached wood decor and especially seeing men walking around in shorts reality hits that you’re at a beach Mykonian restaurant. The food was OK. Presentation basic. Disappointing a bit as Greeks can cook a delicious meal. We had the meatballs, eggplant and sushi for starters while for mains we shared a sea bream with veggies and potatoes. For dessert we had to try the cheesecake with figs which someone recommended and that was about the only food item I enjoyed. Besides the fish there are various steaks from Angus (where 300g can go for around 120$, to wagyu where 300g sells for around 400$ and kobe for around a 1,000$ for a 300g steak), sea food like lobster, various pastas, Greek starters (hot and a cold) and a Japanese menu. The burrata salad looked good from what I saw at the “neighbours”. Nothing unexpected and everything you had before. Be ready to spend around 450$ for 2 people for 3 starters, 2 mains and a dessert while being thrifty. I honestly expected that the food would taste better as in Greece from Athens to Drama in the north whether a hotel or small family restaurant, the taste is...
