Wasn’t for us but I’d still say try it. We attended Decadence. The food was good. Our server argued with us based on being asked "more drinks?" We said yes and he promptly walked off without acknowledgement, so we ordered what we wanted with another server. First server then promptly returned to say he’d put our order through "why did you order different?!", however we hadn’t had the chance to even finish our sentence "yes could we please have…" as I wanted a soft drink not another glass of wine and he must have assumed we wanted the same round of drinks. We constantly had our chairs physically kicked, pulled, pushed and moved to the side as we were eating, by staff and other guests because our table was central of the walkway where they had to traffic the bottle shows. There wasn’t really a "diner show" just dancers (wonderful ones) dancing on podiums and tables tops. The incorrect drinks started to arrive. A main dish didn’t arrive. A plate got taken before we had finished it. And we probably wouldn’t have been to bothered had the mains portions actually been bigger than half my hand. But by this point I gave up because the venue was already in nightclub mode and clearly communication was not coherent. We tried to pay and waited for a server as my driver sat outside, patiently waiting, so we took ourselves to the host desk and requested to pay and comically the server came running up as if we were attempting to leave without payment. I get it, it’s loud, it’s busy, it’s lively and almost impossible to give ok service to every table so I’m not disgruntled. If anything we laughed about it and I like to think it was just an unfortunate once off, our server was probably having a bad or stressful day. I would have went earlier for the food but was instructed the second sitting was 10pm and as we wanted to stay a bit later for the Dj that was the only option offered.
Now I will say on our part we were late by 20mins but I communicated this with the venue and the location is rife for traffic due to the other few popular venues attached, for anyone planning to visit give an extra 20-30 mins.
Still glad...

We arrived at 8pm and were the only people in there, i asked the staff are we the first ones here they said yes it opens up as a nightclub later on and will be busy then. I though ok we must surely get good service then as were the only ones here right? WRONG!
Firstly the most arrogant waiter of all time ROMAN took out drinks order we asked for a Strawberry Daquiri and a Coca Cola. He brought over a regular Daquiri to which he proceeded to argue with us thats what we ordered and he wont replace this.
I asked for fried calamari for a starter to which he said this is out of stock, he said do you want prawns instead? I said no i will just have the steak, too which ROMAN said you must have double the size then because your not having a side or starter even though it doesn't say this anywhere on the menu. Long behold our food comes out an there is a plate of prawns on the table to which we argued with Roman again that we didnt order this but he was insisting that we did. Ive never ever ate a prawn in my life.
Finally desert, i asked for a salted caramel chocolate tart as on the menu it shows no nuts. I have a severe nut allergy which I made Roman aware of multiple times. He says this has no nuts in its fine so I was happy as i normally cant eat deserts due to my nut allergy. 15 minutes later ROMAN comes over and says “there has been a mistake the chef has put a nut in the desert, i have asked him if he can take it out but he said he can’t”
How do you make so many mistakes when we’re the only people in your prestigious restaurant. We argued with him for a third time now saying i physically cant eat that or i will die can you take this off the bill to which he did.
The atmosphere in there was horrible must of been 10 staff all standing round laughing and pointing whilst getting our orders wrong. An let me tell you know if this place has any credit they should sack the arrogant and useless man...
Read moreIf I could rate zero or less I will not hesitate.. the worst experience I ever had in my 12 years living in Dubai and traveling around the world .. first they take ur credit card details and then they send you email and sms that they will deduct 250aed if u cancel the reservation or if we come late.. we booked for dinner at 8:30pm we arrived exactly at 8:30 ( after waiting for the valet « there was huge queue »..giving the car to the valet and walk all the way to the restaurant) we reached at 8:35 the staff at the entrance with no manners and super rude told us that we are late and that she can’t accept us we have to be on time and that our reservation is cancelled automatically..we got shocked coz now they will deduct the 250aed from us for coming exactly on time!!! Seriously !!! Are we goin to a job interview ?? Are we in the school and we have to be on time??? Are we in the military ??? The answer is no : we are just going to have dinner and to have fun… the amount of humiliation I felt personally that time was unbearable everybody around was looking at us and wondering what happened it was so embarrassing.. knowing that it’s clearly written in the confirmation e-mail and sms that they will keep the table for us for 15min and when we told the staff at the entrance that we are entitled for 15 min after the booking time in case anything happens.. they replied in a very rude manner that we have to be on time and that they don’t coordinate with their managers and the people who sent the emails… we had to fight with them to not to deduct the 250 aed from my friend’s account.. honestly I don’t recommend this place to anyone.. there are plenty of beautiful and nice places in Dubai with no scam with no humiliation treating the customer with full respect...
