We had an absolutely wonderful dining experience at The Blue Door. From the moment we walked in, we were struck by the restaurant’s gorgeous decor and warm, inviting atmosphere. While the garden looked stunning, we opted to sit inside as it was a little gusty, and it turned out to be the perfect choice—comfortable, beautifully lit, and with just the right level of background music.

The service was nothing short of exceptional. Our waiter, Jawed, took incredible care of us—attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were never empty, and striking the perfect balance between efficiency and a relaxed pace. We never felt rushed, yet everything arrived at just the right moment.

As for the food, every dish was simply beautiful. We enjoyed the calamari, the cured sea bass, the marinated chicken, and a delicious lamb dish—all prepared with such care and full of incredible flavors. Each plate was a delight, both visually and in taste, showcasing the quality and expertise in the kitchen.

This was my first visit to Blue Door, and it left a truly warm impression on me. I was kindly welcomed by the hostess, dear Ella, whose warmth and heartfelt hospitality made me feel at home right away. Dear Ella, guided me to a lovely table under a tree, offering a beautiful view of the restaurant.

The terrace was especially charming the soft grass underfoot and the natural shade created a cozy, home like atmosphere that felt like a balm for the soul. The sound of the ocean breeze was incredibly soothing.

As for the dessert, it was beautifully presented, but I would have preferred the ice cream to be served separately. Due to the warm weather, the ice cream melted too quickly and made the dessert a bit soggy. A small adjustment, but it would elevate the experience even more.

The music during the evening was truly delightful. It added a warm and elegant touch to the atmosphere, perfectly complementing the beautiful surroundings. A few traditional Turkish melodies would make it even more special, but overall, the musical ambiance was lovely.

The menu features traditional South-Eastern Turkish dishes from regions such as Antakya, Adana, Gaziantep, and Urfa.
