We visited Ain Dubai on January 1, 2025, and while the overall infrastructure of the attraction was impressive, our experience at the entrance left much to be desired. Arriving at around 3:05 PM, we presented our e-tickets at the gate as instructed. However, the gatekeeper, the taller one of the 2 South Asian staff on duty at the time, responded with an unnecessarily arrogant demand: “Show me the email.” without any facial expression let alone any smiles behind his “cooler than you” sunnies 😎

This interaction was both confusing and somewhat dismissive. I have never been asked to show an email to prove the authenticity of e-tickets anywhere else in the world. The purpose of an e-ticket ( which we actually bought online directly from Ain Dubai official website) is to ensure efficiency and convenience, with validation typically handled by a computerized system — not through manual inspection by an entrance staff. The way our tickets were questioned without justification felt unprofessional and frustrating.

If the computer system cannot reliably authenticate e-tickets and instead relies on manual judgment at the gate, it raises serious concerns about the operational standards of such a globally recognized attraction. This inefficiency and lack of customer respect tarnish the reputation of Dubai as a leader in excellence and innovation.

The same staff was notably unfriendly and arrogant—a sharp contrast to the typically warm and welcoming service we have experienced everywhere we go in Dubai. Unlike the other staff members at Ain Dubai who cheerfully greeted guests with“ Welcome to Ain Dubai “ and “Happy New Year”, this attendant displayed a lack of initiative and basic interactive skills in customer care.

Ain Dubai offers a breathtaking experience, but staff like this can detract from the overall enjoyment. Better training in customer service would go a long way in ensuring every visitor feels valued and welcomed.

Also the experience was let down by an overlooked detail—water stains on most of the windows in our cabin.

The stains were not only unsightly but also obstructed the otherwise stunning views, which is the main attraction of the experience, as clearer windows would have elevated the panoramic views and overall enjoyment. Ain Dubai is a remarkable attraction, but maintaining pristine windows should be a top priority to ensure visitors can fully appreciate the city’s beauty. Attention to such details would make a significant difference in delivering a world-class experience.

That said, the infrastructure inside Ain Dubai was absolutely stunning—super high-tech and well-designed. I would have gladly given a 6-star review if the e-ticket authentication process had been handled professionally. However, the poor experience at the entrance took five stars away. I am seriously offended by the lack of respect and efficiency displayed at such an iconic venue.
