We came here to have coffee for the first time and will be the last time we visit BRIX. Unfortunately the ice coffee glass broke on my friend due to the glass being extremely hot and having cold liquid inside made the glass fall apart and all the coffee poured on his clothes. The situation happened by chance and is not any server’s fault. However, the way it was handled afterward was extremely bad and unprofessional. First of all the servers should all know that when something like this happens it is expected that the harmed guest should be taken care of. I am extremely baffled by the behaviour of the female servers who did not know how to handle this horrible situation. At first we did not want to make a scene, and said that it’s okay. So we proceeded to order desert despite the fact the glass just broke on my friend and he had to go change his clothes after his drink has fallen apart due to the cheap quality of cup breaking. We ordered a croissant, but then 2 mins later we changed our mind and told the server we want the cheesecake instead, then to be told that we cannot change the desert! Excuse me? This is how you will treat a harmed guest at your cafe? Then after explaining that we are not happy with what happened, another female server comes to us and says that BOTH deserts and the drink that got spilled will be complimentary. Then we got the bill only to be surprised that they are charging us for the cheesecake. When we ask for the server to come and explain why are we getting charged for the cheesecake when she said both deserts will be complimentary, she proceeds to say “I never said that”. Arrived at 8:15 (opens at 8am) and told to come back in 30mins as they were running late.
When looking through menu, multiple items from instagram video feed not on menu. E.g shakshuka
Tried multiple items - 2 eggs with 2 sides. Poached eggs cooked nice, but 1 small thin piece of sour dough and mushrooms and tomatoes both stone cold.
Brussels Sprouts with poach eggs - again nicely cooked eggs, but rest of dish barely luke warm and no bread. Would have been nice with piece of focaccia, but no bread at all.
Yuzu bowl and cheesecake croissant were nice, so thankfully not all was bad experience
Flat white and cappuccino both barely warm. We had to ask sugar multiple times and after 5mins walked over to get it ourselves and as picked up waitress pushed hand out of way to get it.
Mention to waiter about cold elements, so offered to have another cooked, but declined as did not want to wait longer, as already hungry.
When we asked for bill, it was 10mins the to receive it.
If you are there around 9:50am you will also get the pleasure of jet ski rental place 2m away reviving up all their bikes, testing them before start of day, so apart from loud noise for 10mins you also get all the fumes...

At around 2:10 PM, we arrived at the restaurant and were initially seated at a very cramped and noisy table in the middle of the dining area due to the large crowd. A short while later, we noticed that a nearby table became available, and we kindly asked one of the other staff members if we could move. I want to emphasize that we made this request only after confirming that the table was unoccupied. The staff we spoke to were friendly and willing to help.
However, the experience was completely overshadowed by the rude and unprofessional behavior of one of your staff members at the entrance—an Indian female server named Hinda. She abruptly and very impolitely refused our request. When I tried to communicate with her directly, her attitude was extremely disrespectful and unreasonable. I have never encountered such rude behavior from a server before, and it completely ruined what was supposed to be a pleasant coffee outing.
That said, I do appreciate the assistance and support offered by your restaurant manager, and I want to acknowledge that the rest of your staff were very kind and professional.
