The beach has an appox 2k designated jogging track where bikes are not permitted (however this doesn't deter some cyclysts ) but it was pleasant to walk along. It was not at all crowded so you can spend a fairly peaceful few hours there, but take food and drinks with you as the stores, cafés and 'facilities' are a trek if you need them.
