HuQQabaz Jumeirah — Restaurant in Dubai

A beautiful cafe for a nice casual evening meeting, but disappointing food.

Ambience (5/5)- The ambience of this place beautiful, one of those insta-worthy cafes you must visit if you are in Dubai. Has some of the best seating furniture, dim lighting which reflects well on the furniture and makes it very beautiful in the evening. It has a separate dining area for the kids where they can enjoy and play with toys as well making it quite convenient if you are coming here with kids.

Sheesha (4/5) - The sheesha here is amazing, one of the widest range of flavours and some beautiful pots which are one of it's kind. The flavour is amazing and the coal change is done frequently without you even asking for it. But, it's very expensive compared to some of the other places in Dubai, 200 AED minimum for a basic one and going up towards 700 AED for the more premium pots and flavours.

Food (2.5/5) - We order the Fourmaggi Pizza (4 Cheese pizza) and Kentucky Chicken. Both of them were OK, not something I would really appreciate or try again. Again, the food is on the expensive side, considering the taste, I wouldn't want to go here just to have food. The desert spread is very nice and well presented. What's good about the food here is the presentation quality, most of it is good for taking photos and sharing it online, so if you're into that, might be of some interest to you.

Coffee (4/5) - Ordered a cappuccino and a selfie latte. Selfie latte is where you whatsapp your selfie to them and they design it on the coffee, very good for instagramming and an experience in itself. Taste wise, coffee is amazing, but not the best of the best of the city. They serve it with a tasty cookie though. The presentation again here is beautiful and definitely one of the selling points of the restaurant, you'll be forced to take photos considering how well everything just looks on the table.

Service (3/5) - Service quality is very nice, the staff is well groomed and dressed and very attentive to what you need. But I honestly felt like they were trying to push up sales, sometimes getting a bit aggressive in making you order, checking on what else you want constantly which felt more like being forced than just the regular restaurant etiquette. They don't have a service charge, but the attenders insist you to make a tip, something you cannot deny when you look at them while paying the bill.

All in all it's a good place to hang out with your friends or to have a casual meeting, but not a place i'd prefer to eat at. Music isn't too loud, easy to have conversations. Very expensive considering the taste of the food, I think you're just paying for the brand and presentation of the dishes since it became famous from their branch...

Huqqabaz Dubai truly left me spellbound with its impeccable dining experience, delicious food, excellent service, and an unexpected touch of magic! From start to finish, my visit to this restaurant was an absolute delight, and I can confidently say that it's one of the best dining experiences I've had in Dubai.

The menu offered a diverse range of dishes, each promising an explosion of flavors. I opted for their signature lamb kebabs and hummus, and I must say, the taste surpassed all expectations. The lamb was tender and succulent, perfectly seasoned and grilled to perfection. The hummus was creamy and paired wonderfully with warm pita bread. Additionally, their selection of refreshing beverages complemented the meal perfectly.

But the real highlight of the evening was the magician's performance. In between courses, a talented magician made rounds to entertain diners with captivating tricks and illusions. It added an exciting and interactive element to the dining experience, making it an unforgettable affair.

The service at Huqqabaz Dubai was commendable. The waitstaff, especially Vedat, stood out for her attentive and gentle demeanor. She guided me through the menu with expertise, recommending dishes that suited my preferences. Her warmth and knowledge of the cuisine enhanced the overall experience, and I felt truly valued as a guest.

Moreover, the pacing of the meal was well-managed, allowing enough time to savor each dish without feeling rushed. The staff ensured that my glass was never empty and attended to any requests promptly.

I always come to Huqqa one day in the weekdays and one day in weekend Whenever I come I feel very stressed First we wait outside until they took the car like 15 min after you stay in the indoor area the one that doesn’t have shisha until they serve you and there’s no AC in this room in the weekend you wait 1 hour in weekdays around 20 min after waiting if you are 2 they give you a very bad table and very close to the people every time I sit and the men around me and listening to all my stories I’m not feeling happy today I told them I need bigger table the lady said this table the people in the bathroom coming back to sit Then we waited again after 15 min n one sat in this table she wasn’t honest with us and I feel very bad cause I’m regular customer and always the organize the lady and the arabic guy are rude with us all the time and I’m not saying anything but today after I see that they won’t let us sit on that table and there a plenty of table are free today it’s not crowded and we keep us waiting 20 min and all empty and not allowed to sit in a table that are 3-4 because we are 2 that’s not acceptable at all why you guys doing this to the people that come always here for what that??? Why this show off for nothing to be honest I’m sitting there for the atmosphere but later the vibes is very low nowadays and the people are low class not like before and whenever I order shisha I feel sick and sore throat! And the food nowadays is very commercial today also the price is high and I’m not getting the same quality as we are paying I told them I need to sit in a nice table or you will lose a customer they said we can’t do what you want they don’t even respect . I will not come again because of the hostess attitude they are loosing customers and then we went to APE lounge was very class and they give us a table for 6 people not 4 they told us sit whenever you want and they treat us very good I was very happy and their shisha much better than here and no waiting time and insult you and choose your table like HuQQa is doing . I’m disappointed here never ever going back Good luck and I will escalate this to the team in Istanbul because the situation wasn’t appropriate at all. Good luck loosing customers...
