Saudi Kitchen (المطبخ السعودي) on Beach Road in Jumeirah 2, Dubai, is a gem for anyone who loves authentic Saudi cuisine. The moment you step inside, the warm and inviting atmosphere makes you feel at home. The decor is a blend of traditional and modern elements, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia while providing a comfortable dining environment.
The menu at Saudi Kitchen is impressive, offering a wide range of dishes that highlight the best of Saudi culinary traditions. One of the standout dishes is the Kabsa, a fragrant rice dish cooked with a blend of spices and served with perfectly cooked meat. Whether you opt for chicken, lamb, or beef, each variation of Kabsa is delicious and satisfying.
Another must-try is the Mandi, a traditional dish featuring tender meat and flavorful rice. The slow-cooked meat, often lamb or chicken, is incredibly juicy and pairs wonderfully with the aromatic rice. For those who enjoy grilled options, the selection of kebabs is fantastic. The meat is marinated to perfection and grilled just right, resulting in juicy, flavorful bites every time.
In addition to the main courses, Saudi Kitchen offers a variety of appetizers and side dishes that are equally impressive. The hummus is creamy and rich, making it a perfect starter. The fresh, crisp salads add a refreshing touch to the meal. Don't miss out on the assortment of freshly baked bread, which complements the dips and spreads beautifully.
What sets Saudi Kitchen apart is its commitment to quality. Each dish is prepared using fresh, high-quality ingredients, ensuring authentic flavors and excellent presentation. The portion sizes are generous, making it a great value for money.
The service at Saudi Kitchen is top-notch. The staff are friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are always ready to provide recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is enjoyable. Their hospitality adds a personal touch to the meal, making you feel like a valued guest.
Despite its popularity, the restaurant maintains a cozy and relaxed atmosphere. It’s an excellent spot for a family dinner, a meal with friends, or even a casual date. The cleanliness and hygiene standards are commendable, providing a pleasant and safe dining environment.

Read moreBADDD!! Honestly, I really used to like this place and would always come here in the winter with friends. I brought a few of my friends visiting Dubai for the first time and I, myself have not been here in a couple months but wow, the service was horrible. It took forever for the waiter to come take our order, and when we got our kabsa with meat, the pieces were basically just bones. So we asked our server to either change the pieces—which he said he couldn’t do because “it’s already been done”—or give us extra meat that we’d pay for. He said we couldn’t do that either and brought the manager, who frankly just gaslit us, saying this is how it always is, which it’s not. I kept repeating that we just wanted actual meat and were willing to pay for it.
Eventually, we did get the meat and agreed to pay extra for it.
As much as I like the food, another reason I used to enjoy coming here was the ambience and the feeling of being at home. But this time, it was anything but welcoming or hospitable.
Anyway, once we were done eating, we ordered tea and dessert. When they brought the kunafa, our server literally dropped the plate on the table with a bang and didn’t bother clearing anything until we asked.
To top it all off, we had to call the staff at least five times just to ask for the bill. When a server finally came, he looked at us like we were the problem. We were like, “No, we’ve already asked for the bill three times,” and even then, it still took forever.
And then when we finally got the bill, they tried to overcharge us by adding two full rice dishes we never ordered. When we politely asked them to double-check, the woman looked at us like she wanted to stab us. No apology, no clarification—just attitude.
Honestly we were scared to ask them for anything.
Would highly NOT recommend this especially with the way this place is...
Read moreI’ve been to this restaurant multiple times before and always left impressed, but this visit was beyond disappointing. The food I ordered was completely tasteless and looked nothing like the dish in the photo.
The chicken had zero flavor it honestly felt like it was just boiled and thrown on top of the rice. No spices, no seasoning, not even salt. The rice itself was equally bland, with barely any spices or taste. It was just… there. And sadly, I couldn’t even eat it.
To make matters worse, the dish arrived at my table in under 5 minutes which clearly means it was pre-cooked and just reheated. No freshness, no care in presentation or taste.
What upset me even more was the attitude of the staff. When I raised my concerns, they simply told me, “That’s how we make it,” in a tone that felt like “take it or leave it.” They said they respected my opinion but followed it up with excuses instead of any effort to make it right.
Again, I’ve had good experiences here before, which is why I came back, but this was a total letdown. If this is how the food and service are going to be moving forward, I won’t be returning.
I’m attaching pictures of what we ordered vs. what we actually received, the difference speaks for itself. it’s absolutely not...
