I had the pleasure of experiencing the Unlimited BBQ during my stay, and overall, it was a memorable experience. The atmosphere was wonderfully immersive, with a Japanese-inspired setting that really added to the overall dining experience. The interior was cozy yet modern, with warm lighting and tasteful décor that set the perfect tone for a relaxed yet vibrant meal. The vibe of the place made it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience.

Most of the food tasted delicious - but we need to address the slack in service. Our dine in experience was going well and it looked like 1 of the servers was trying her best to assist us based on our food preferences and choices. But one of the dishes we ordered wasn't up to the mark - it actually missed the spot by a mile! Now, although it was our first time dining at Kimuraya, we've tried this dish multiple times previously and knew what to expect. The dish being unpleasant is not the issue - but when we told the server we didn't like how it was prepared after just one bite , she was surprised and looked unprepared to handle such situations - I asked her to take it back to the kitchen to show the chef the bits that weren't prepared correctly. She looked at the dish but didn't take it with her .. she then went to the kitchen to speak to someone, came back and told us this is how they prepare it and if they re-do it, it will still be the same - so if we didn't like it we should order something else off the menu - i told her once again i would like her to take the dish back - and she told me to leave it on the side and then proceeded to mumble something - she insisted we order a replacement and continue our meal. At the end of the meal we were charged for the undesirable dish and when i asked why - she mentioned well this is how we do it and we can't take it off if we've added it to the bill. I reminded her that SHE SUGGESTED i order a REPLACEMENT -- then why should we be charged for both dishes -- this was followed by more mumbling and I didn't want to make a scene. My disappointment comes from the dish not even being checked properly, the chef or manager not being notified or stepping in to sort the issue. The situation was managed extremely unprofessionally and the server kept implying we just brush it under the rug and not talk about it and just pay up. She tried to push us to just "enjoy the rest of the meal" and pay no mind to the money we wasted on a ridiculously sad dish that no one from the restaurant was willing to acknowledge. Sad !
