This is my updated review as recently went to their yum cha brunch with friends.
First and foremost, don’t let their menu fool you as the choices may seem limited however depending on what you order, you won’t be able to try everything from their menu.
We ordered the following:
Steamed Egg Custard with Prawn
Cutlet Fish Fillet
Cucumber Salad, Spicy Soya and Garlic Sauce
Poached Seasonal Vegetables
Signature Red Rice & Prawn Cheung Feung *
Shiitake Mushroom with Asparagus Cheung Feung
Stir Fried Cheung Feung, XO sauce *
Crystal Shrimp Dumplings aka Hakaw *
Shrimp and Green Chive Dumplings *
Steamed BBQ Chicken Buns
Scallops & Chicken Siu Mai *
Crispy Spring Rolls
Deep Fried Chicken Sticky Rice Dumplings *
Lapsung Souchong Panna Cotta
Egg Tart *
Fragrant Osmanthus & Coconut Pudding
Those marked are what I consider my must try items from their menu.
Their Cheung Feung rolls are so tasty! If you like the QQ consistency, try their rice rolls stir fried in XO sauce. The Red Rice & Prawn Cheung Feung may not look appetizing but as soon as you bite into one, your mouth will feel different textures as the middle part (which is the prawn) has that crunch.
My Dimsum selection has a mix of steamed and fried dishes. Their traditional Cantonese steamed dumplings are flavourful. Can be eaten with or without chili garlic sauce. The Deep Fried Chicken Sticky Rice Dumplings that were shaped like ducks reminded me of ham sui gok and crunchy at first bite.
For dessert, their Egg tarts are so soft and tender. Quite filling too. A nice way to end our brunch paired with free flowing tea.
Kudos to the Filipino servers who assisted and waited on us. I can only recall one named Orlando (hope I got it right) who asked feedback from the dishes that we ordered. The Steamed BBQ Chicken Buns would be perfect if just a bit of filling was added, the steamed bread was fluffy though.
All in all, if you want authentic Cantonese cuisine here in Dubai, this is one restaurant that you should definitely try on your list.
If you want proper authentic freshly made dimsum and Chinese food, this is the place to go. I enjoyed some of their dimsum selection in one of their smaller branches at Time Out Dubai Market (located at Souq Al Bahar) that I had to check the actual restaurant out.
Started with Pu-er tea and ordered quite a few dimsum such as Crystal Prawn Dumplings, Steamed BBQ Chicken Buns, BBQ Chicken Cheuang Feung, Stir Fried Turnip Cake with XO, Honey BBQ Chicken Pastry, Steamed Chicken and Mushroom Siu Kai and Stir Fried Beef Hofun.
Unfortunately, one of the dimsum (Deep Fried Taro Puff) that I was looking forward to try was not available as the ingredients had to be sourced from China.
Hopefully, I can try out their yum cha Friday brunch next time. 2 weeks prior actual Friday brunch date booking required.
No wonder they are listed as one of the Best Chinese restaurants in Dubai. Highly...

My review for Long Teng – dimsum is one of my favourite type of brunches here in Dubai and Long Teng delivered outstanding and authentic Chinese food choices for their Friday brunch.
There were three items that I really enjoyed from the brunch menu and they were the steamed prawn in red cheung fun, crystal prawn and chive dumplings, the marinated octopus, and the egg custard buns.
The steamed prawn cheung fun was definitely my favourite, and will still always be because everything about this dish was just crafted so perfectly. The filling had prawns and fried dough which was such a great combination of flavours. The red rice cheung fun was different from the regular white rice ones, and I thought it was just as delicious.
The crystal prawn and chive dumplings were beautiful for both presentation and flavours. I loved how the dumplings were clear so you can see the prawn and chives straight away. These dumplings were fresh and was so good on its own without any sauce.
Next, the marinated octopus was marvelous! The octopus was small and came in a small bowl but the marinating on the octopus itself made it stand out the most compared to some of the other dishes.
Finally, the cutest dessert that I have ever consumed was a great finish to my brunch here. The egg custard buns were presented shaped like birds, and it was almost too cute for me to eat. Once I finally got a chance to bite into the buns, I thought, “wow!” straight away. The egg custard filling was creamy, flavourful, and had just the right amount of savoury-sweet taste. I was glad to see that there was more filling than bun.
This restaurant deserves a rating of 4/5.
I ordered the Friday dimsum brunch.
The pricing of the brunch here was decent for the set menu, which has over 10 items to choose from.
The service was a bit slow for the first part of our brunch experience where we had to chase down the server a few times.
Once there were a few more servers on the floor, the service was better where our tea and water glasses were always topped up.
The food came out quickly, and this was expected, as these are smaller items and faster to prepare.
The ambience of the restaurant was very elegant and there were a lot of little details that stood out.
Upon entering the restaurant, the exterior was already impressive as it was modern and looked huge. This restaurant has 3 floors and has a seating capacity of 700 guests. Each of the floors had tanks of live fish swimming around. One floor had 8 private rooms which were large and can seat up to 20 guests.
The top floor has a terrace and has a wonderful view of the business bay area. Also on the top floor, there is indoor seating and a section of fresh seafood on ice ready to be prepared for cooking...

I’d like to give millions of thumb-ups to this excellent restaurant, never and ever been a restaurant that can make me feel proud but it did.
I went there for the best offer of Friday brunch which only rate for 135AED with VAT included, but no matter the presentations or tastes are way too beyond my expectations.
The Cantonese dim-sums I had there I can say some are even much better than the originated ones, the most surprised me is Cai Siu Bao(steamed BBQ chicken Bun on the menu),normally Chinese people think the pork stuffing is the most authentic and delicious,so I never think it can be also good when we make it halal food👏.
The restaurant has 5 floors and I had the food on the 2nd floor,it is super clean and keep in a good hygiene which really makes diners enjoyable. The western modern architecture and traditional Chinese wall paintings very well balanced to welcome everyone.
The last I have to point out is the hospitalities and services of the whole catering team especially that gorgeous Chinese lady who I forgot to check her name but definitely will do next visit, only know she is from Quzhou,Zhejiang😄.
I tried to reserve one seat 1 day before for this Friday brunch but informed that fully booked but I decided to try my luck.Unfortunately there was no cancellation and I was supposed to leave and that beautiful lady told me that she could arrange one for me which maybe the light or the location is not good and I was already ecstatic to get 1 table to satisfy my Chinese tastebud.
And the table was turn to be perfect for single food dining and the attendants were so helpful to make my order get quickly served even I took so many, and so impressed to see their special carings to every single guest even though so busy at that time.I heard that this restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant in dubai and I can say it deserves the reputation...
