I stayed at the Intercon Business Bay with my family almost two weeks in July and I'm glad to report that our stay was fabulous. From the moment we arrived, the experience exceeded every expectation starting from check-in all the way to our departure.
The apartment suites are exceptionally well-appointed, exuding a clean, modern vibe with smooth furniture and incredibly comfortable bedding; perfect for unwinding after a busy day in the city. Every detail felt thoughtfully curated for comfort and elegance while the balcony is also vast. The kitchen was well stocked so we easily catered to all our kids needs.
What truly set this stay apart, however, was the outstanding hospitality. Every member of the team from the valet and bell staff to the front desk, housekeeping, and the Kids Club was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind.
A special highlight for us was the Kids Club with a burj view, which felt more like a well loved daycare than a typical hotel facility. Ms. Jinky created such a nurturing and fun environment that our son Haider never wanted to leave, she kept all kids engaged and made sure every one got a turn to try their favorite activity. She would immediately intervene if any of the kids got into a tussle.
And speaking of exceptional people, I must commend Ms. Shiyi Lei, who is truly the soul of this property. Her thoughtful attention to detail, kind demeanor, and personalized care made us feel incredibly welcome. Haider was so taken by her warmth that he would excitedly look for her every time we came down to the lobby. She is a remarkable ambassador for the brand and a shining example in the hospitality industry.
The breakfast buffet was another standout; vast in selection and consistently high in quality. Every call to the front desk would result in immediate response and assistance which was appreciated. I feel compelled to point out that the response time to any need it unbelievably quick. Also, this is one of the rare hotels that drops your packages to the apartment within minutes of arrival and you don't get judged for ordering in.
Finally, the housekeeping team also deserves high praise for their meticulous cleaning and thoughtful touches. Every return to our suite felt like stepping into a haven, complete with small surprises that delighted our son each time. The deep cleaning is done to a very high standard and although I never got around to meeting the housekeeping team as they worked their magic in silence but their efforts must be acknowledged.
In short, our tay felt like an incredible six-star experience and ended far too soon. The level of care, attention, and genuine hospitality we received made it one of our most memorable hotel stays ever and the entire hotel staff deserve praise for that. Read moreLast November I stayed for almost two weeks at the Intercontinental Residences Dubai Business Bay hotel. In short, it was really fantastic and I really felt like a king in Dubai! I had a spacious disabled room at my disposal with a view of the Burj Khalifa. The room was a studio with a kitchen, refrigerator and washing machine. In addition to a spacious balcony, the room was equipped with the necessary facilities for people with disabilities. In addition to a toilet in the bathroom with the necessary support rails, the bathroom is equipped with a roll-in shower with a bench mounted on the wall. All rooms are thoroughly cleaned daily.
During my stay I was able to enjoy a very extensive breakfast every day. For example, there were various rolls, croissants and cakes available. In addition, you could have an omelette made where you could indicate which ingredients you wanted in the egg. The buffet also included bami, nasi, grilled chicken, various types of meat, fruit and various types of freshly made juices.
The service of all employees was excellent! Apart from the fact that the employees were genuinely very attentive, they also repeatedly asked if they could do anything else for me. The following example shows that the service is really at a high level. When I was in Dubai for about four days, I had trouble with my own wheelchair. The rubber on both of my front wheels suddenly came loose. The hotel manager then contacted various wheelchair companies to ask if they could repair my wheelchair. When the hotel manager found a company that could repair my wheelchair the same day, a driver from the hotel took my wheelchair to the company in question and picked it up free of charge. During the time that I did not have my own wheelchair, I was able to use a loan wheelchair from the hotel!
Considering the service orientation of the entire staff of the Intercontinental Residences Dubai Business Bay hotel, I felt very welcome and had a fantastic time there.
