We had a wonderful dinner time inside the restaurant of which we ordered just a light meal of buttered chicken and paratha. The chicken was nicely cooked inside and out and very flavorful perfect for the buttery not to spicy not to blant gravy and paired with the paratha bread.
The atmosphere inside the restaurant is in comfortable setting and a relief to the heat of the city even at night time, Customers have the choice to dine outside as well if they prefer.
Food prices are somewhat Affordable for the food serving of which is plentiful. The one who served us is a polite, friendly and accomodating asian woman who knows the food menu, works hard serving other customers in other table all the while still training a new female employee showing her the operations of customer and food service, This employee has good skills and is a very hard worker, a good return of investment.
Well, for the downside if you dine in on the rush hours expect the restaurant to be full and a lot of online deliveries that the employees need to accomodate and the customers dining in will have their orders delayed. The only thing I notice is the male employees around 4-5 of them are just standing at the back in front of the kitchen door beside the table where the online orders are placed and just wait for the order to come out and add additional order to complete them and just waits there doing nothing or just chatting away all the while the female employees are the ones running around serving and accomodating everyone. That is my experience and what I observed, If the management could position employees around or infront the store the customers will have not have a hard time calling the attention of the server if they need anything or will bill out.
Overall, the food is excellent, service and atmosphere are nice but needs a little...
Read moreDear New Marina,
I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I received during my recent visit to your restaurant, specifically regarding a staff member named Delshad. I ordered a large avocado shake, but was initially served a medium size. When I questioned it, Delshad admitted it was a medium and quickly changed it to a large within seconds which seemed quite suspicious. It felt like the same drink was simply poured into a larger cup. I accepted it at the time but then decided to read the menu, which described the shake as “thick” and rich, which this clearly was not. When I brought it up to Delshad and asked him to try it, as it tasted like just milk with no avocado, he responded sarcastically by asking, “This is not thick?” He then took the drink and returned after a couple of minutes. The taste was still awful—like ice and water, with no flavor at all. What frustrated me most was his attitude. He was rude, dismissive, and even made it seem like I didn’t know what an avocado shake was. There was no apology, no suggestion for an alternative, and no attempt to improve the experience. His behavior was highly unprofessional and, in my opinion, he is not suitable for customer-facing roles. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and review the behavior of this staff member. Your food and service are usually great, and I would like to continue being a customer, but experiences like this are truly...
Read moreIf you're visiting Dubai and love good food, do yourself a favor and stop by Marina Shawarma in Al Barsha. I stumbled upon this place after a long day of exploring the city, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of my trip. Hands down, one of the best shawarmas I’ve had not just in Dubai, but anywhere. The spot is casual and unassuming, but don’t let that fool you. The flavors here speak for themselves. I tried both the chicken and beef shawarma, and both were packed with juicy, perfectly seasoned meat wrapped in soft, warm bread. The garlic sauce? Unreal. Creamy, rich, and just the right amount of kick. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and care about getting the balance of flavors right. What makes this place even better is how welcoming and quick the service is. Even though it was busy when I visited (a good sign!), the staff were polite, fast, and helpful with suggestions. It’s clear they know they’re serving something special. Prices are super reasonable too, especially for the quality you’re getting. It’s the kind of place that works whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or looking to sit and chill after a long day. Plus, the location in Al Barsha is convenient if you’re staying in or around the Mall of the Emirates area. All in all, Marina Shawarma is a must-visit if you want a taste of real, delicious shawarma while in Dubai. I’ll definitely be going back next time...
