Pancake House Al Barsha — Restaurant in Dubai

Since they now offer buffet, out from my curiosity, I’ve tried Pancake House - Al Barsha. And it exceeds my expectations.

Arriving at the restaurant, the place is so good and the staffs are accommodating and friendly.

For only 49 AED, you will definitely enjoy the food! And definitely, I will come back here to taste their other food on their menu

Food Review:

Garlic Rice - it is quite bland as I cannot taste the garlic itself.

Ginataang Bilo-Bilo - It will attract you as it is colourful as you can see green, purple, and white glutinous rice balls, and orange sweet potato. The banana is quite soggy, which makes me avoid eating it. This supposed to have jackfruit and tapioca pearls, but I don’t mind. Level of sweetness wise, not too sweet, and not thin. The taste is giving meryenda/dessert.

Kare-Kare - This is one of my favourite filipino dish, and when I am eating this dish, I base the taste without the Bagoong (Shrimp Paste). Their kare-kare lacks of grinned peanut. Maybe it is me as I preferred more grinned nuts. I can say their Kare-kare tastes so well as it is not ‘nakakaumay’.

Shrimp Gambas - I don’t usually eat this dish as we don’t use to cook this in our province and I have no idea the authentic taste. But based on what they served, it tastes so well.

Beef with Cabbage - I don’t eat this much but the taste is flavourful and savoury.

Pinanyahang Manok - Quite surprising as they serve this dish. I usually see this in some fiestas and celebrations. Tastes so well and nothing special. It tastes like other version of it, it is just chicken with coconut milk and pineapple. (I’m not a fan of this though)

Pancit Luglug - tastes so good! I wish they make this more flavourful
