My first visit to Nusret Steakhouse in Dubai during the summer of 2021 was an experience filled with anticipation and excitement. As a meat lover, the reputation of Nusret's culinary prowess preceded my visit, and I was eager to indulge in their famed dishes alongside my family. The experience did not disappoint; from the moment we stepped in, the service was nothing short of extraordinary, setting a high bar with their attentiveness and warmth. The contrast in pricing compared to its Istanbul counterpart was notable. In Dubai, the experience is a premium one, reflecting in the cost which is substantially higher than in Istanbul where it's much more affordable. However, the quality and presentation of the food justified the expense, making it a worthwhile splurge for a special family outing. The staff's exceptional friendliness added to the welcoming ambience, with smiles accompanying us throughout our stay. The highlight, however, was the presentation of the meat. It wasn't just served; it was showcased artistically, enhancing the dining experience into a theatrical display that captivated all our senses. The opportunity to season our meat 'Salt Bae' style was a delightful touch, allowing us to partake in the signature style that Nusret is famous for. As for the food itself, it was impeccable. The meat was cooked to perfection, and every dish was a work of art, both in taste and appearance. It's rare to find a place that pays such close attention to every detail, from the ambiance and service to the exquisite presentation and flavors of the food. In conclusion, Nusret Steakhouse in Dubai is more than a meal; it's a celebration of fine dining and artistry. While the prices are steep compared to Istanbul, the exceptional service, friendly atmosphere, and culinary excellence make it a must-visit destination for anyone looking to indulge in a luxurious dining experience. It's a memory that my family and I will cherish, and I look forward to the chance to return.

This has been on my “To-Eat-List” for quite sometime since I arrived in Dubai. Im giving them 5 stars because my experience with my friends were truly unforgettable and I’m generous at giving stars.😉 I’ve read negative reviews prior to booking a table and honestly, i was hesitant to reserve considering where we came from. We might just be intimidated, but what we experienced was totally the opposite. As soon as we arrived, we were catered to our table and Andrii the good looking server was patient enough to assist us and wait for us to decide on our orders. (They actually have ample staff to assist and serve you). He had some considerable suggestions on the menu and we had no regrets taking it. Everything we ordered was life changing if i may exaggerate it. They were new to our palates. Exceptional i must say. The steak cutting was really extra with the famous Salt Bae moves. So get ready with your cameras on for your next IG story. In general they always put extra actions when it comes to providing service. You will know when you visit the place. And be ready to spot some celebrities. They flock their way there.😬 Apart from these exceptional stuff i mentioned above, what i have observed was people came just to eat and leave. The turn over of table was really fast. Usually, when im out with my friends, we spent 3-4 hours at the table catching up through conversations over delectable food. Maybe because the place is quite famous with a lot of guests and they are trying to minimize the waiting time for the next guests to be served. Which is quite understandable. In general, this place is a must visit especially when you’re into steak.🤗

I don’t normally post reviews. But for this restaurant I’m going out of my way. Let’s start with the positive: We were a group of 6 (3 couples). Out of the 3 steaks me and my friends ordered, 2 were really delicious. The meat was soft and tender, it almost melted in the mouth. The third one (filet mignon) was delicious too, but burnt on the sides. The meat-cutting show in front of us was Instagram-worthy, which is most likely the whole concept of this place. Let’s get to the bad: The restaurant stinks and they have bad ventilation. It stinks because there’s fumes and smoke everywhere. They should invest in a better ventilation. The interior designer didn’t really try to create a pleasant high class atmosphere. The furniture looks very cheap, just look at the sofas. And the waiters create a super-hectic low-class atmosphere due to them running around. But here’s the biggest negative: My girlfriend ordered a white wine. The waiter brought her one, then took it away and asked “Oh you want the special?” And brought her and another girl the “special wine”. I didn’t really pay attention to this, as in a normal restaurant they don’t do what happened here. Later on the bill, half of the bill was 6 glasses of wine for 3600 AED (1000 USD). That’s 600 AED (163 USD) per glass. The waiter tricked my girlfriend. However, in the end it was my responsibility to check prices, which i didn’t do, partly because in this restaurant everything is so hectic that you don’t pay attention to details (plus, you normally don’t expect that you need to keep your guard up all the time in a restaurant. Especially because an expensive wine just doesn’t fit into this low-class restaurant hectic atmosphere. You feel like on a Turkish bazaar). Let’s continue with the positive: As a professional marketing and sales expert I have to say that I learned a lot from this place. First of all, they put the high ticket item menu in front of you, instead of the normal menu. You’ll find steaks there for 4500 AED (~ 1200 USD). I mean, not even a Wagyu steak in the most upperclass steakhouses costs that much. But that’s not my point. My point is that it’s a proven strategy to put super expensive items in front of a customer, so that the other expensive items don’t seem that expensive by comparison. On one hand I admire their audacity due to my profession, on the other hand, as a customer, I feel tricked and manipulated. You want a restaurant experience to be pleasant and you certainly don’t want to have you’re guards up all the time to check when they could trick you. And while the upsell-strategy with the comparatively hyper-expensive wine is a good one to increase short term profits, it’s a bad one to keep long-term customers who are sensitive to quality. However, due to Saltbae’s admirable social media strategy and the current Instagram-blogger-lifestyle, this restaurant will never run out of people who will want to have tried the Saltbae-experience at least once in their life. My overall rating for the restaurant is 1 star (DO NOT GO HERE!), however, I’m giving it 2 stars because the quality of the meat is high. But no matter the quality of the meat, all the other factors don’t make it worth visiting this place. The overall strategy of this place is to fish the most amount of dollars from your pocket. This is not a bad thing per se, other places do the same thing successfully. But in other places you actually feel that you received a higher value for the higher prices you pay. Visiting Nusret was like paying the price of a new Porsche or Mercedes Benz while receiving the quality of a Fiat. Yes, it stills your hunger, but so does McDonalds or other lower-priced restaurants. The point of paying higher prices is to receive a higher quality experience. Nusret does not deliver this. Avoid at “all costs”.

Pre- booked the table for 5 guests. The booking was a very easy process and all was done online. The good thing was that kept getting continuous reminders of the booking. The place itself is located within the boundary of for seasons Hotel with valet parking available free of charge if you are dining. Nusr-et has both indoor and outdoor seating available, we sat inside. The place had very nice ambience but was crowded and a bit noisy which is not bad. The menu has many options to choose from I believe we ordered special Sushi, smoked beef, goat cheese salad for starters and ottoman steak. The host was very good, excellent infact, he recommended many dishes and was really friendly. The starter did not take long to arrive. The sushi was really good, the smoked beef was nice, salad was OK. The steak arrived and the person carrying it did the theater associated with this resturant. The meat cooked beautifully and just dropped off the bone. The meat was most and juicy with light flavour. There was no sauce with the steak maybe because what we ordered. We were not able to finish the steak as it was massive. The food was good but not for the price that is being charged. I love my steak and I went there because of someone recommending it to me. But I was not blown over. Cost is bit on the high side but you are paying for the celebrity status. Maybe this is the best steak in Dubai but definitely not the best that I have tasted. For me Japan is no1, W hotel west bay Qatar and Kona resturant in Bradford, UK. The last one is slight cheaper but their steak and food is excellent. Will I go to Nusr-et again probably not, will I recommend it probably yes. But only to tick the checklist of yours that you have eaten here. Lastly to summarise excellent ambience and staff. Food is ok to good.

The food is good, not great. The service is top notch, and the ambiance outdoors is pretty laid back and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our dinner but I’m not sure Nusr-Et would be a place I would really recommend as a steakhouse as there are a few others in Dubai that have the same quality of food or better for a third or half the price. We paid 2,500 AED for two people which I think it’s overpriced for the overall experience. The prices don’t match the flavor or quality of the food but are derived from the great marketing that Salt Bae aka Cappuccino has been doing. If Salt Bae was there to cut, flame, or feed us then 2,500 AED would have made sense (somewhat) We had the Nusr-Et salad which has a great combination of sweet and savory flavors, the goat cheese and raisins were a nice touch. The salmon tartar didn’t have any seasoning and some of the avocado in it wasn’t ripe. The “spaghetti” was very good! The lokum was fine, and the filet was normal. We didn’t go for any of the gold covered meat because it’s a bit stupid to pay for something that doesn’t add flavor to the food itself. Wished they had uni, truffle sauces or something else to add to the meat. I’d be happy to order that.

Nusret in Dubai isn't just a steakhouse; it's an experience. A haven for meat aficionados, the ambiance immediately draws you in with its energetic vibe and an unmistakable passion for steak. The star of the show, undoubtedly, is the steak adorned with gold. This dish, as shimmering as it is, serves as a testament to Nusret's dedication to innovating and pushing culinary boundaries. While it's a spectacle and great for a one-off experience, the real essence of Nusret lies in its meat's quality. The wagyu sushi is another dish that stands out. This delightful fusion combines the richness of wagyu with the simplicity of sushi, culminating in an explosion of flavors. Moreover, the salads, fresh and zesty, serve as the perfect palate cleanser in between those meaty bites. Every piece of meat at Nusret promises a journey of flavors, meticulously cooked to encapsulate what steak should genuinely taste like. But be forewarned: such culinary excellence draws crowds. There's often a queue, especially on weekends. Yet, the proficient staff ensures you're seated without much delay, proving that Nusret isn't just about great food, but also exemplary service.

Swanky spot for meat-centric Turkish fare from a chef with a flamboyant serving style.
