Disappointing Dining Experience at Rawabi al Sham Mirdif.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Rawabi Al Sham Mirdif, and it was, without a doubt, the worst restaurant visit I've ever visited in 21 years living in Dubai. From the moment we walked in, the entire evening was riddled with disappointments and frustrations.
First impressions matter, the waiter seemed indifferent and uninterested, barely acknowledging our presence as we arrived. At the table we were informed that the Daily Dish is no longer available after the waiter claimed to check with the Kitchen.
When we decided to leave, the waiter said “You are Welcome” then the hostess approached us asking if everything was ok also supervisor or Manager approached us without identification and said they will check the kitchen and let us know. Later the supervisor came and offered 3 meals available. There were no napkins at the table.
Surprisingly what was communicated over the phone about the lunch that comes with “Soup, Salad, Main Course, Desert and Juice” ended up that we were served cold lentil soup with rotten lemon slice that should not even be used but arrived at out table, salad was not offered as they claimed it is only for take-away (which was not communicated when we called), the main course was Jordanian Mansaf that was dry and meat was chewy, no desert or juice was served also and we were charged for water bottle and Pepsi.
When we asked for the bill it was the fastest service that they have and when paid the waiter turned his back on us and left, their attitude was apathetic and rushed. We felt like an inconvenience rather than valued guests. Simple requests, like bringing napkins, were ignored and forgotten.
When our food finally arrived, it was another major letdown. The dishes were poorly presented and lacked the promised flavors. The portion sizes were inconsistent, and considering the prices, the quality was simply unacceptable.
When we politely expressed our concerns to the manager, their response was dismissive and unhelpful. There was no genuine apology or attempt to rectify the situation. We left the restaurant feeling not only dissatisfied with the meal but also with the overall lack of care and professionalism.
In summary, our experience at RAWABI Al Sham Mirdif was nothing short of disappointing. From the poor service and unappetizing food . I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. If you are in Uptown Mirdif i strongly recommend to Visit Kana Gourmet were you will have a great pleasant experience with high quality of product and serviced with Amazing...

I got into a car accident yesterday, because apparently some people don't know how to drive. You might be wondering; okay Erhan, what on earth does a car accident have to do with reviewing this place? To that I say absolutely nothing, but here we are anyway...
Jokes aside, well, the accident was actually true - while waiting for my car rental I decided to visit this little gem. They serve Arabic cuisine with fresh meat on display.
I had some spicy potato, chicken arayes, and fries. The meal was GREAT! They missed the mark with the fries, they weren't that great - but everything else? Chef's kiss!
Even the bread was fantastic!
Now I don't know about you, but there is something appetising about watching fresh food being made while eating - not sure if this is just a "me being weird" thing or not - but I'm a weird person anyway so I get a pass! Anyhoo, I digress. They have a big TV on the wall showing fresh food being prepared, including roasted chickens getting railed by grilling rods, and some of the finest cuts of meat I've ever seen in my life. This place is a vegans worst nighmare, or a normal person's paradise, sorry vegans! 😂
Anyway the food, the ambience, the staff aggregated to a pretty wonderful dining experience. I feel like this has been quite the spa day for my mouth.
Anyhoo, time to pick up my rental because SOMEONE ran into my car....
P.S. they tried to blame me until they realised I had a dashcam. I really wish I could review that driver... he was definitely a 1 star...
