Aroy Thai in Dubai is a culinary haven that brings the vibrant and authentic flavours of Thailand to the heart of the city. Despite its modest size and limited seating, this charming restaurant offers an exceptional dining experience. The Papaya Salad (Som Tum), a quintessential Thai starter that is a balance of sweet, sour, and spicy flavours. The crisp green papaya was expertly shredded. The Spring Rolls, beautifully golden and crispy on the outside, with a savory filling of vegetables and prawns inside. Served with a sweet and spicy dipping sauce, these spring rolls were both appetizing and delicious, setting a delightful tone for the meal. The Tom Yum Soup was a standout, featuring a fragrant and fiery broth infused with lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, and fresh shrimp. The Pad Thai, a classic Thai dish, was impeccably prepared with stir-fried rice noodles, prawns, tofu, egg, and bean sprouts. Garnished with crushed peanuts and fresh lime wedges. The Pad Thai offered a perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savoury flavours, with the noodles cooked to perfection. The Green Curry was another highlight, featuring a rich and creamy coconut milk base infused with green chilli paste, Thai basil, and a medley of fresh vegetables and tender pieces of chicken (or seafood, depending on the dishes captured). The curry was both aromatic and flavourful, striking a delightful balance between spicy and sweet. The Stir-Fried Morning Glory (Pak Boong) was elevating the simple dishes. The crisp morning glory was stir-fried with garlic, chilli, and soy sauce, maintaining its vibrant green colour and crunchy texture, resulting in a fresh and satisfying side dish. The Mango Sticky Rice was a delightful conclusion to the meal. Ripe, juicy mango slices paired beautifully with creamy, coconut-infused sticky rice, creating a harmonious blend of sweet and rich flavours that left a lasting impression. The traditional Thai iced tea and fresh juices, which complement the meal...
Read moreWe found this restaurant via web. Tried it and oh thank goodness we made the right choice. The reviews and their ratings are not lying. We’re lucky enough that there were only few people eating when we got there. We were informed that during weekends it’s usually crowded. I believe it is our destiny to try their food. We were welcomed by a lady who was very accommodating (I forgot her name though). The restaurant it self is small but overall it has a very southeast asian restaurant vibes; simple and homey. Their menu has good selection of food with reasonable prices. They serve huge portions with quality delicious Thai food. No fancy plating but their dishes are served to perfection. The food is bursting of flavors. Comforting to your palates. It is a must to order mango sticky rice with ice cream. You will miss have of your life if you don't try this beast.
Definitely we will come back again

Aroy Thai in Al Nahda 1 delivers not only authentic Thai cuisine but also exceptional service. We dined here to celebrate a special occasion and were thoroughly impressed. The owner thoughtfully suggested placing an advanced order to ensure timely service, and indeed, our dishes arrived promptly—hot, fresh, and full of flavor.
Our group enjoyed their Aroy Thai set, Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and mains such as Garlic Beef, Chicken with Cashew Nuts, Mixed Vegetables, and Mixed Seafoods. The garlic fried rice was also a standout. Each dish offered authentic Thai taste and generous portions, perfect for sharing, we even had leftovers that we still enjoyed the following day. The warm, attentive added a personal touch that made the night truly special. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a memorable Thai dining...
