Horrible experience tonight with this Afghan Pallow Restaurant. My friends and I went to this restaurant to try since its new and it was recommended to us by our friend. It is so sad that the person who recommended the place was the one who had the argument with the staff Saleem.
After eating they handed the receipt. I gave my card and he went away. So i thought he will just take the machine card and come back to tap the card infront of us. But with our surprise he came with 2 DECLINED receipt telling my card was declined.
We ask him WHY you did not ask us first before tapping it again? Then we ask him where is the manager? He went away and cashier came with 3 DECLINED receipts. We were shocked HOW they have done this without asking PERMISSION with the customer?
The staff SALEEM who made the transaction came and bring receipts presenting to us that this was their transaction. Then my friend ask him, what did you do? Then he was explaining that he went to other machine. Then my friend got angry and ask him why did you do that? Then after back and forth of arguing and he is not listening to us explaining they should ask first the CUSTOMER. Saleem told my friend pointed his finger and "said stop talking. Ok we go outside." To our surprise he was asking for a FIGHT. He is walking out and shouting come lets go outside! THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE! This was our first time to encounter such rude and arrogant staff. SO RUDE!
I HOPE THE OWNER AND THE MANAGER WILL...
Read moreI recently dined at this wonderful restaurant, and I have to say, it’s a gem. The food is absolutely top-notch—every dish is packed with flavor and made with fresh ingredients. The portion sizes are generous, making it perfect for two people per serving, which is a nice touch.
What really stands out is the customer service. The staff is incredibly attentive and consistently checks in to make sure you're satisfied with your meal. It’s clear they care about your experience, and that personal touch is something I always appreciate.
The ambiance is perfect for any occasion. It’s cozy yet elegant, making it a great spot for both casual dining or a special gathering with guests. The atmosphere is relaxing, but there’s also an air of sophistication.
Even though the restaurant has an upscale feel, the menu is surprisingly affordable, which makes it a great value for the quality of food and service you’re getting. There’s also an all-inclusive package for group dining, which is perfect for hosting guests or celebrations.
As a regular customer, I can honestly say I’m always happy with my experience here. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place to dine with great food, excellent service, and a...
Read moreWe drove 35 minutes from the Palm Jumeirah to eat at this place, and turns out the food is not good at all. We tried several menu items, none of them tasted good. The food does not look anything like the pictures on their menu or their google page. This was probably one of the worst afghan food experiences I’ve had in a very long time (maybe in 10 years). I was wondering why the reviews were good about this place but we found out before leaving this restaurant, that the waiter, whose service was very bad, asked me go to their google page and write a review for them and I said ok I will. He then repeatedly asked “can you do it now before you leave?” And he was so adamant about me writing a good review right now!
Please don’t waste your time and money going to this restaurant. I know how good Afghan food tastes and this place’s food is not even a 3 out of 10. It might be a solid 2.
They advertise as authentic but it is FAR from it. The bolani, doughy, FULL of salt, no flavor. Also, WHAT afghan restaurant serves kabobs without sumac or...
