Before starting with the review ,I must tell that im Gold Member from All Accor Hotels .
The unpersonal and unfeeling welcoming from the ladies at the reception was more than obvious for us. They are not in the mood to welcome new guests..They have enough why to work extra if the place brings new customers anyway.
We had our reservation at 1830 , no matter how casual ,smart or non smart your outfit can be, we've observed how they have more preferences for specific food guests which is pathetic and irritating for all after Fi'lia is advertising on Instagram with an amazing view and amazing italian food.
We come from Switzerland close to the Italian border this place is only a HYPE place. The ladies are clueless i requested via whatsapp for sugarfree dessert with enough time in advance however they forgot to replied back and obviously there was no chance to get any dessert sugar free or with monk fruit or stevia which is not difficult to make . After some time one of the managers came to me offering a plate with fruit I requested only blueberries and strawberries and i got a plate with different fruits. whats wrong ??? Do you think we are less than others that are ordering prosecco or primitivo bottles for dinner ??.
The pizzas are not a WOW, and definitely not from italian made, the Pollo with ricotta with ugly ruccola leaves and not 100% well cooked , the soja latte disgusting ,the service weak we wait and wait and others who came after us were much better treated, got a better place , the mocktails are made with literally 1 kg ice and 100 ml liquid ..so Ridicoulous the barista needs to improve a lot.
PLEASE BE AWARE OPTIC the food plates look delicious until you ear them :/
The atmosphere mehhh and as i forgot to mention at the restaurant that im all accor hotels member they didnt apply my member discount , all in all OVERRATED experience moody staff and unfriendly guest service and food nothing to wish for . I agree with other reviews saying the food is not good This is not a fake review..This place was a huge disappointment and believe me we know high-end Restaurants in Dubai..
Thank you Fi'lia first time and never again.Im quite critic because we are not paying 20 aed for a dinner and we are not eating fast food I think you should rethink many details of your staff behaviour ans the kitchen itself.
I will post my stories on Instagram to show the real vs instagram...
Read moreRecently, my wife and I visited Fi'lia for a family event, and overall, we were quite impressed. This restaurant truly knows how to create a festive atmosphere.
Let’s start with the positives. First of all, the restaurant team did an excellent job organizing our event. We’re rather demanding clients, but the staff displayed exceptional professionalism, promptly responding to our requests and accommodating our specific requirements. Their communication was top-notch: every query was addressed quickly and efficiently, reflecting a high level of organization and customer focus.
The event itself was flawless. The service inside the restaurant was outstanding: the waitstaff was attentive, polite, and discreet. As for the food- simply phenomenal. Every dish was a masterpiece in terms of taste, presentation, and quality. The wine list was equally impressive, offering a wide selection, and the sommelier clearly knew their craft.
And, of course, the view! The city panorama from the 70th floor is absolutely breathtaking. The interior is stylish and elegant, adding to the celebratory vibe. The atmosphere was calm and refined, with a pleasant crowd, and the venue’s excellent security ensured a feeling of safety.
Now for the downsides. The first impression was slightly tarnished by the hostess. Instead of the expected warmth and professionalism, we encountered disorganization and even rudeness, which is unacceptable for a Michelin-starred restaurant.
Another issue was the building’s vehicle access. Our driver was not allowed to pull up to the entrance until we personally intervened. While this may seem like a minor inconvenience, attention to such details is expected at a venue of this caliber.
Overall, Fi'lia is a place where you’ll find exceptional cuisine, stunning views, and excellent service. Despite a few minor flaws, the restaurant’s team managed to make our family event truly special. We hope these issues will be addressed in the future because the potential of this place...

Wanting to celebrate a very important occasion, we revisited Filia for its appetizing menu and maginifcent views on the 70th floor at the SLS hotel, Dubai
However, their extremely poor service tarnished their reputation and our special night. Our feedback made no difference to the staff and we ended the night with canceled orders because of an unresponsive staff.
They were utterly understaffed for a busy night. We sat at a big table but somehow were forgotten by the entire staff.
They did not care to serve us any complimentary bread but were serving others. It’s the small things that matters and leave the first mark! Basic cutlery was forgotten. Only 60% of the table had access to those. They forgot our drinks and we canceled them in the end. Our lasagna was burnt in the kitchen so they asked to chose another dish. We requested for the A/C cooler to face us for a while but initially refused wanting to give it to some specific customers only. We had to argue for quite a bit to have some share of the cooler so we could enjoy the outdoors as well. Their food was decent, as good as you’d find in many places and it’s reasonably priced. But just make sure it’s serving is pp!
While we’ve had a good experience before it was usually when they weren’t busy. But this time they just couldn’t manage.
Also, we asked to use the esaad discount to which they turned us down because we were a group of 8 and they said as per esaad policy it can only apply to a group of 5/6! No specifications. We knew esaad is applicable on the whole bill unless the business decides otherwise to which they later accepted it’s their own policy. So be wary of their changing and unofficial claims.
We are not sure how they are maintaining their Michelin Bib Gourmand but If you fancy such poor service, especially for your memorable moments, then please...
